There are many publisher in general, so i don't think is a good idea.
If you think we have some publishers as well in Greece, think how many files i must create for publishers from Japan and USA.
I guess I just don't understand the point of categorizing by country, as that has little to nothing to do with the content of the comics itself. To me it's a bit like categorizing cars by color. Other than having pleasing looking groups of vehicles, what has actually been accomplished?
While globalization and multiculturalism are becoming more and more prevalent, most works are still grounded in some kind of cultural context. For example, they will, without explanation, refer to things/themes/events that belong to the collective memory of a specific country, or (sometimes unintentionally) feature a specific cultural perspective. So, there IS something to be said for this way of organizing things.
But I do see what you mean; organization by genre, or tone, or settings, seems to be more practical. Depends on what the functional goal of the order is in the end.
