How important is your appearance to you?

Ahh, all you beautiful escapists out there, how important is your appearance to you? Do you not give a damn about your raggedly long hair, and sporting beard to match? Or are you a clean shaven/crew cut gent who maintains a high standard at all times.

Same for you ladies out there, careful makeup/straightened hair or natural beauty?

I normaly try and take reasonable care of myself, I dres well, wash constantly, shave now and then, try and not smell the usual really takes 10 minutes in the morning and I feel better for it. On a big night out I can be anywhere from 30 minutes or more.

otherwise, feh, i dont care, i hate make-up, so i never ever wear any, and i wear comfy clothes, not ones that look good XD

My appearance is pretty important to me, but I don't think I need to splatter beauty products all over my face to look good.

Nah my beard is quite nice... oh.

I never have time to put make-up on. I always straighten my hair because I feel really uncomfortable with my natural hair.
It's nice to make a little effort now and then.
And I has no natural beauty.

I don't even comb my hair these days, I just let it be. Appearance is not very important to me, I have even gone to school in my pajamas a couple of times, not that I'm exactly proud of that. ^^' They were plain pj's though so no one really noticed. =) However I do go to sauna every day and wash my face so that I don't look repulsive at least. I never wear make-up though. It feels completely pointless and I just cannot get myself up so early that I would even have time to put make-up on before school.

(I spend 15 minutes in the morning waking up, 2 minutes bathroom, 7 minutes breakfast, 5 minutes clean my room, 3 minutes checking my bag that I have all the things I need, 3 minutes brushing my teeth and 5 minutes waiting for my school bus.)

i have to be comfortable with the way i look otherwise i wont feel right but most i do is straighten my hair. I am pretty picky with clothes too they have to be from a place I know that doesnt use sweat shops.

i dress to intimidate, its amazing where i live, wearing normal clothes, i can barely move inside game and the popular shops

when i dress in my spiked boots and chains all over my clothing, i get a nice clear pathway, so yes, i think i care about my appearance

The better you look the more arbitrary favours you receive, the easier your life is, and the happier you are. The importance of appearance cannot be stressed enough, pretty people are better.

This is not a shallow point of view, just the result of observation. We cannot resist being nicer to better looking people regardless of gender, and truly attractive people can be morally bankrupt and still loved. Therefore appearance is the most important aspect of a human being, you should think about nothing else until you can be judged well by your cover.

Not very important. My morning preparations consist of nothing but showering, brushing teeth, deodorant, and then tossing on whatever clothes I have that aren't dirty. I'd rather be comfortable than look good.
