In case you didn't read the subject. How in the hell do you get to the White House in Fallout 3? It has been bugging for days trying to get past the stupid barricade, please tell me if that's as close as you can get or can you go further?

Do you mean for the Broken Steel content to reach the base? You can't enter the White House itself, but you can enter the emergency tunnel. The enterance is a storm drain, so just follow the radar marker. I walked around that block for ages trying to find a door.

its near Penn NE I believe. You enter a Utility Tunnel through a Man Hole cover and then you follow the tunnel.

I think you come out on the Penn Ave Metro tunnel, also it's not going to be what you think.

Same tunnel you are sent into for Broken Steel.

Only you go the opposite way.

Go down the sewer opposite the hotel/Metro outside the Whitehouse (where the BHOS position is) There should be a utility door near where you took the entrance to the Broken Steel Route to the Airforce base, You step through the Door in the middle of the Whitehouse ruins
****WARNING**** radiation is high as it took a direct hit from a nuclear blast, so make you you RAD resist up and all that. There should be some Mini nukes and various other goodies lying around in the middle of the whitehouse ruins

You can get to the ruins of the white house without Broken Steel, though there's nothing there but a crater and radiation. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact navigation but what other people have said is right, down into the tunnels through the manhole where the Brotherhood chaps are guarding.

There's a Manhole across the street from the Brotherhood House on Penn. Ave. Without BS it takes you to a blasted crater with some significant radiation and some Glowing Ones. There's a Fatboy and a couple Mini-Nukes scattered around. With Broken Steel, you can get there, or continue down the Tunnel Access to the Enclave-Controlled base.

I got to the White House thanks a bunch guys!
Since were on the topic of Fallout 3 where can you find the Nuka Cola Quantum I've found a bunch but not the thirty I need. I've found them in random spots and the shipping manifests didn't really help. Do you guys think you could help me out one more time?

There are two main ways
1. Get the Broken Steel DLC and you get to go into the White House, the underground escape tunnels
2. You can get to the blast site where the White House was hit by a nuclear bomb, you goto where the Brotherhood of Steel have set up an outpost/roadblock and theres an obscure sewer entrance on the ground somewhere to the right.
These aren't precise directions, becuase I can't remember. I can't think of any other ways

Hey guys another question regarding Fallout. I don't know if it's just me but I can't hack computers are there and tips. My friend told it's like Mastermind but I don't even know what that is. Any help, advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

There will be whole words scattered throughout the gibberish on a computer. Select one of these complete words and activate it. On the right side of the screen it will tell you how many of the letters in it were correct.

From that, you must deduce (in less than four tries total) which word is the correct one. Every time you select a new word, it will indicate how many letters are correct in your guess.

Tip #1: If you've already tried three words and are not completely confident that your next guess will be correct, cancel out of the hacking screen and try again. (It will reset what the words are, but it will also reset your guess count.)

Tip #2: While scrolling around the gibberish in the hack screen, sometimes you will come across a group of symbols between two brackets. When selected, it will appear as a solid piece. (Example: [^&#@$] or something like that.) If you activate this, there is a chance that it will remove one of the words that is incorrect, give you an extra guess, etc.

I've played the crap out of this game (250 hours) and never knew about Tip #2. Thanks a bunch for that one.
