Well, put it this way. What is arguably the most talked about news source. It's Fox of course, because of all the lies they use and get called on. Despite what you might think, the people running Fox News know that the lies they tell will be called on the carpet. They wouldn't tell them otherwise, because they would gain nothing from them. By telling so many blatant lies, Fox has enraged so many people that the sheer controversy alone gathers them so much attention that advertisers know that buying advertising space in the Fox News time space will guarantee viewers. This then leads to a high price on advertising space, which goes to the Fox network, and finally affects the budget and direction in which Fox News reports. That is basically the business plan that Fox News uses, and is why they will never go away. Too many people are unwilling to dissect and analyse WHY Fox does this because they don't try to see the big picture (something that is very concerning for the future of the country). Personally, I'm a conservative, but it's obvious that this amount of attention would be given without credible support to the belief that Fox is blatantly lying. You have to understand that Fox News is, at it's heart and core, a business. It's a politically charged business, but will always be a business first, and no successful business would ever change such a wildly successful business model.
