How is Payday: The Heist?

I saw it was on sale on PSN and thought about getting it.

I played the demo and thought it was pretty good though the controls felt a bit wonky and the demo level wasn't really that amazing and $20 seemed kind of steep for a PSN game.

But what I really want to know is do people still play it on PS3? It's a co-op game so if nobody plays it anymore it's sort of pointless.

Oh Payday is fun, but I believe the PC Version (since I own it) is a lot better and get's more support then the PS3 Version.

It's basically Left 4 Dead but instead of zombies you blast you're way through faceless mooks. The heists can get really intense and there's a good verity of maps as each one plays out differently. However I can only realy recommend it of you have friends to play it with, otherwise it gets boring fast.

Payday: The Hesit would have you believe it's a game about robbing banks.

It's not.

It's a game about going to one area pressing a button, then shooting your way through half the police department, pressing another button, and then guarding a specified area from the other half of the police department.

You get penalized $2,000 dollars or so for every civilian you kill.
I don't get how that works either. "Oops, I shot someone who wasn't a cop guys, we better drop 2k as an apology!"

The cops will just throw themselves at you, there are no tactics, no tense standoffs if someone decides to take someone hostage (Which just functions as a cheap mechanic to revive a dead team mate)

Lame game is lame, save yo cash.

I really enjoyed it on the pc, it was allot of fun, Im not sure how much of the multi community there is right now, I never really had too much trouble getting a group going but I haven't played it in awhile.
