Cold, wet... AND SNOWING HERE!!!

(Sasquatchian)

Yup, the snow is falling in itty-bitty puffs that have me excited for both Halloween and Christmas, OH!

Cannot forget about thanksgiving... SHIT! I forgot to check me schedule to see what time I work that day!

So what is the weather like where you are and are you happy with it? Unfortunately it is still not cold enough for me to justify wearing a sweater, dammit sub-zero! Where the hell are you?

It JUST started cooling down and now smells like leaves

I'm gonna enjoy all 6 days of this before it starts sucking
Noice, I just love how the smell of everything changes with the seasons. Late September and October in particular.

P.S. My OC (the one in the avatar) actually smells like a pile of freshly raked leaves.

Flooding season in a tropical country. It sucks. And not because "I can't go play outside" (well that too)...but because I get stranded at work rather often. Here's a picture from 2 days ago, from the balcony.

Snow makes you excited for Halloween? Huh, I never made that association even though our Halloween costumes had to be designed around winter jackets. I guess I was always just hoping against hope that we would get a warm Halloween for once.

It's getting pretty cold but it's not snowing here yet. You can keep that stuff over in Saskatchewan.

Was beautiful for about a week or so - even took my quadcopter out to get shots of the scenery. Last night though, category four shitstorm. just hail coming down in sheets, treelimbs knocked off into roads and driveways. I'm surprised that there weren't any tornadoes in the area.

I love my Syma X8C. Too bad all these trees make it so difficult to use.

It's getting to be sweater-weather here. Fairly warm summers, fairly cold winters, but I think it's mostly the altitude, rather than the latitude.

It went from a smoldering indian summer to a very nippy autumn in the space of two weeks (The Netherlands). Who knows, maybe we'll actually have a winter this year.

I know right. I hate how seasons seems to be disappearing and you just have 'hot' and 'cold'. Spring and fall used to be my favorite seasons.

I'd scrap the 'cold'. I don't think it's been legitemately cold here since the winter of 2012/januari 2013, when things got arctic. Since then every winter has been a slightly less warm autumn.

Your definition of 'cold' is different from mine. Ugh, I hate winter. Hot summers as well though. If it were up to me though I'd lock the weather in a perpetual gentle spring. :p

Yesterday was beautiful. Day before there were tornado warnings. Today expecting the possibility of damaging 60+ mph winds and 1" hail.

So, kinda typical.

Rain for ten minutes and blistering heat the rest of the day.

Climate change is a wonderful thing.

Surprisingly sunny. I'm in the East Midlands in the autumn and it's clear skies, sun, and a brisk wind. It's bizarre is what it is. This is England, the weather is never this consistently nice!

Well it is official Auturm as the weather has drop down to around 10 degrees in the UK so I'm starting to feel the coldness!

I love this time of year. It is still warm during the day and nice and crisp in the morning. People are complaining about the cold, but come on its autumn in Britain, it as well as spring, is the best time of the year.

Apparently we are supposed to be getting 4 months of ice and snow. Yeah right, I remember that we were supposed to be getting that last year too. But, it is still good fun to watch the country grind to a halt at the slightest bit of snow. Four months of ice and snow should just about finish off the British people for good.

Getting colder and darker faster than any other time of the year. Days (well, the waning hours of sunlight) are still bright though, so that's something. The shitty late fall weather hasn't yet arrived. I quite like the early autumn, when it's still sunny and bright, yet nippy and chilly. Makes me feel more energetic. But since I got a job, I have to wake up around 5 am, and it's fucking dark and cold. In a few weeks only the cold and dark will remain. And then it will be cold and damp. And you turn your collar to it. And when your eyes are stabbed by the flash of a neon light, all you can hear is the sound of silence.
