how is torchlight?

so, i've never played diablo but i've heard about it a bunch.
i like the RPG Dragon Age setting.
i don't like the millions of weapons thing like borderlands (i heard it's like that in diablo)
i played the demo and wasn't sure what to make of it, if it's good or bad.

please describe torchlight and tell me if you can recomend it?

I found it kind of mediocre, not good, not bad, but somewhere in the middle. It works perfectly fine, but nothing about it blew my mind or was overly fun. To sum it up: fine game, but gets old and repetitive really fast.
