U.S: I guess its the country everyone else hates.
For the state I lived in, North Carolina, I lived in a GI Town where people support the soldiers or civilians just worked for a living. I don't think they really have anything to display imho.

England? I would rather like to think it's portrayed as a veritable medley of upper class, top hatted gentlemen dontcha know. What ho, pip pip and all that other tosh.

Regrettably, within the next 5 years I see the stereotype moving towards "Alreet, fuck aye wif a can o' cheap beer and mah ho wot ah shag. Ahm 12 init".

This very possible change of events saddens me.
When people think of england people think of your god awful teeth.

Honestly everyone I meet in America (Besides my family) seems to think that everyone who doesn't live in America is either stupid or is a communist.

It honestly makes me want to move TO Canada, just so that I wouldn't have to put up with them any more. (Unless you guys get people like that too?)

I'm American.

Foreigners seem to think that we are all fat white trash retards with cowboy hats and Southern drawls that are more irritating than nails on a chalkboard.

Domestically you'd never know there was more to the US than New York, California, and Texas.

Well, it's well known that in ancient times everyone spoke with our immaculate engish accent. We are also notable for being villains in movies. Then there's also the Hugh Grant stereotype.

I'll just link to TV tropes to save myself time and effort.

Well, as an American, I must be a war junkie that loves stuffing my face with cheeseburgers. And as a New Yorker, I must be rude, talk with a Brooklyn accent and notice almost nothing happening around me.

I'm also Polish.

People think we're stupid or weak because of world war 2.

Do they know we saved the rest of Europe from getting their heads kicked in by the Soviets after World War 1? Oh because we smashed a big army of theirs heading towards Germany (you all know the thanks we got from those fucks). See Polish-Soviet War, or Miracle on the Vistula.

Do they know Nicholas Copernicus was Polish? Gee thanks for that whole everything revolves around the sun theory you dumb Polak!

Marie Curie? Atomic theory and two discovered elements? What did you think Polonium was named after? Again, another example of how we are stupid people.

Some of the oldest universities in Europe are in Poland.

Polish patriots helped America crush the British. Thadeus Kosciusko and Kaszimir Pulaski.

Remember that German blitzkrieg thing? Yeah we destroyed 25% of the Luftwaffe and lasted as long as France in battle. Unlike France we didn't have foreign armies helping us and we also got jumped by Germany and the USSR. Quit making it sound like we threw our arms up.

Driving the Turks away from Vienna sparing Europe a Muslim invasion? Thanks Poland!

First European kingdom with any democratic elements in their government? Us.

First kingdom in Europe to allow religious freedom? Us.

Surviving 1000 years of ethnic cleansing, war, and genocide? Us.

I'm Canadian, and as such we never really get any notice in the entertainment industry, excluding our horrible movies and TV shows

Blasphemy! Strange Brew was probably the second greatest comedy I've ever seen. Oh and OT: I'm not really sure how California is represented, but we do have Hollywood...

I'm from good ol' Massachusetts, we're mostly represented by being slightly dumb, constantly swearing, and having the stereotypical accent.
In truth, it's really only people from Boston who are like that (Bazing!).
No actually, a lot of us have normal American accents, and we're not all completely foul mouthed, I am but...

Where does this stereotype come from? I've always been confused by this.

The Historical examples you're giving are from the area we know today as Poland, I don't believe that it was called Poland back then, or was even a country... I thought Modern-day Poland was created after WWI to BE a "buffer zone" between Soviet Russia and the rest of Europe... AP EUROPEAN HISTORY LIED TO ME!!! But you also forgot: Yvonne Strahovsky is Polish. That's enough to save Poland from ridicule by my standards. In case you're wondering, I'm not insulting Poland, I'm stating that your arguments are false.

Grab a napkin, buddy. You just got served. :3

Well, hell. Turn around for 2 seconds and get ninja'd.

Poorly and stereotypically, if at all.
I don't know, I'm Canadian and find our portrayal as rather humourous, especially when you run into the stereotype American.
