How is your summer going?

My summer was spent on summer courses, taking care of my sick girlfriend, rushing her to the hospital, and sitting with her through the days for a week, getting a tooth infection during that week, having it get worse and inflamed, having a fever on and off due to the infection, and topping it off with a double root canal on Monday of next week.

How's my summer going? I'm glad my girlfriend and I are still amongst the living.

My Summer has been alright.

Physically I'm getting there, I'm way more active than I've ever been. I bike 40k, and run 10k, sometimes I do em both in one day. I've been playing ball hockey for the past month, so that's about 2-3 games a week, I'm also in an Ultimate Frisbee league, so that's 1 game a week.

Socially my Summer has been pretty amazing. If I'm not engaged in some physical activity, I'm usually at the beach, or hanging out with friends. I've made a couple new ones here and there, so yeah, win.

Emotionally I'm not exactly in the best of shape, not going into much detail here, but it could be better.

Metaphysically I'm doing quite well actually. . .uhm. . .what? lol!

June and July were boring, cold and wet. August however is shaping up to be pretty decent. Starts off with me being home alone for a week (woohoo!), Dues Ex 3 and the new Dresden Files book will finally come out and the weather's shaping up as well. In a bit I'll go read a nice book (first of the Wheel of Time series) in the sun. Delightful.
