How late have you ever left something you've needed to do?

I ask out of curiosity (and not procrastination at all, no sir) since I... currently have an essay due at 11:59 tonight.

...that I started 10 minutes ago. *cough*

Now, my shitty study habits aside, what's the latest you've ever left something to do before the deadline? Are you one of those people who does everything weeks in advance, or do you squeeze in that last-minute drop off?

on the day it was due
after the class started
during the 45 minutes the teacher gave us to polish our essays
I got a B

aside from that, I'm kinda anal about getting things done before they're due (as long as they're not school related) so it rarely ever happens

Well, I took a certain college class, did really well until the final paper, didn't do it. The teacher said he will pass me if I hand it in, even though the class is over. Was a couple years ago, still haven't wrote it.

I never procrastination since I hate the idea of working under pressure so I always do my homework/ assigment everyday when others do jack all (one time in Uni, we had 3 different assigment so I was balance it out doing different work on the day and time).

In saying so however, art can be a *****. I remember one time I spend a whole day painting these building in different colours due to how slow it was drying up and my parent complain I was spending too much tim on art...

A few hours before it was due is the latest I've ever done since I usually finish stuff either the day before or two days in advance.

Usually, I leave my work until a day or two before it's due, because I can only work properly during crunch time. However, the latest I've left doing work is a couple of hours before the submissions close. Mind you, I got a B+ on that one, if I recall correctly, so I'm not too harsh on myself for that little stunt.

...somehow still passed that assignment as well. Easiest way to turn a HD into a P - have a nervous breakdown!

I had to write some kind of silly research paper for my Senior English class in high school.
Worth like 25% of my grade or something, maybe more. I did it all in one day, in school, and handed it in two weeks late.
I should have received a C because of the lateness, but my teacher said it was so good she just had to give me an A.

In college I wrote a 5 page midterm essay in three hours before my class. Got an A- on that one.

Outside of schooling I'm a punctual person and get everything done early.
I just really hated school work.

I put off telling anyone that I had jury duty until the night before I had jury duty. My mom freaked out, my dad held a grudge and yelled at me about the garbage about a month later, I didn't take the days off of work, and I only had to go for two days.

Fortunately, I had those days off of work anyways, so it wasn't all bad.

Always did my homework the evening before we were supposed to hand it in when I went to school(and I always got good grades, so it worked well), but as an adult I think I'm doing fine with managing stuff. I do weekly shopping, and always make sure I have at least one weeks worth of back up food in case I get sick, and all my bills are paid automatically.
The only thing I slack off with is laundry, which I always push up until I'm on my very last sweater. However, I still have to book the damn machine over two weeks in advance since my neighborhood has way too many tenants for the two machines we got.
I tend to count my clean clothes before I book so I'll know exactly how many days I got left. Procrastinating is a lot of work!

I fucked up a year in chemistry and was in danger of failing it.
My teacher gave me a Chance: All I had to do is schedule an oral exam and pass that so he could give me the mark necessary to still pass the class.
When this would happen was up to me. So when did I schedule it?

Never.

I still passed the class for some reason I do not know and don?t care. (Maybe he had to improve his quote)
Still: Missing that opportunity was probably better than attending it because I fucking sucked at chemistry in trhat year. lol.

I had an appointment with the dentist 16 years ago...
2 years ago I went in for surgery to have all my teeth removed..
Still putting of having implants installed.

And it's not only because I don't like dentists (or the price-tag!!).
I procrastinate everything that I don't feel like doing.
I should start thinking about taking it to a new level and start procrastinating my procrastination.

Hi I'm Aerevolt, and I'm a recovering procrastinator. For some reason, school work has always been something that I would wait until the last minute. Even this past semester. I would tell myself that I was going to study, but I always waited for the 2 hours before the exam.
How am I learning to overcome? For summerterm I'm taking an online course in Spanish. Assignments are due every day, even the weekend. I started out trying to do a few days in advance, so when I did procrastinate, I wouldn't be totally screwed. Then the strangest thing happened. This B student (myself) started getting an A, because spending more free time studying and practicing was paying off. Since I plan to graduate with honors, I hope this lesson sticks with me.
