How long could you go without games?

For whatever reason, you have to give up video games. How long do you think you could last?

In all honesty, the only games I have been playing lately have been Portal 2(which I just beat) and Minecraft. so I think I could go for a year or two.

It wouldn't be particularly hard to replace video games with any other sort of activity. Like... I dunno, talking on forums? If I ever got really bored I could go "socialize". I could probably give them up forever if I really had to...

Buuuuut I think I definitely prefer the video games. Glad I'll never have to make the choice!

I occasionally go a few weeks without playing because other commitments take up my time, so probably quite a while.

hmm, well Gaming is my passion in life, i have a steady job and a decent appartment so am happy and gamign is just my passion so giving up my passion? um i could do it, probably as long as i needed to, would i enjoy it? no, but there must be a dam good reason am giving it up.

That'll never happen though.

Once your supporting yourself noone can tell me am playing to many games.

If I really couldn't play any games for a good reason, I'll manage. I play games because I can without bothering anyone else ( for as far as online gaming goes I guess).

I basically play games in the time that I have no other stuff to do. Which is a lot actually ^^

So It'll take some time but I can probably fill the void with something else.

Months, probably. I have other things which take up my time, like music (playing and listening), comic books, films and general socialising. Music is the one thing I love way more than games so yeah, I'd survive without games for a while

This is actually why I brought it up. I'm heading to college after summer so I was thinking that I wouldn't have time for games anymore.
