Five days. It was the entirety of a workweek right before school started back up, last summer, I believe.
I've stayed up for three days solid playing only Animal Crossing. It still haunts me to this day.
My sleep schedule of this summer's break I stayed up for two days and slept for 12-16 hours every day (I guess you could call it.)

In essence, I hate sleep with a passion.

I spent some time in the Canadian Armed Forces. About 10 weeks into basic training they start depriving you of sleep. While I caught a quick cat-nap here and there, I remember going 6 days no more than 30 minutes of sleep at a time. Of course, all the days kinda started merging together and I can't be sure exactly how much time past.

I picked up some good tricks to stay awake: The most effective has to be putting 1 drop (only 1) of black coffee into your lower eyelid. Instant caffeine jolt.

Vier or for those who don't speak German 4 days in a row, then slept for 16 hours.

I've done 5 days because I was so overly stressed out from moving to a new country, med school, and being separated from my family. I eventually took a bunch of sleeping pills because I was afraid of dying, my heart wouldn't stop racing even though I was just sitting around and I started to get really fcked up thoughts in my head.

I seriously don't recommend anyone trying to stay up longer than they have to, it felt like being on the verge of a heart attack for hours.

About 40-something hours, most of which during an epic flight from London to Australia no way you can sleep in 'economy' class...

I'd say about 30 hours when I played games with a bunch of my friends.

Its sort of a weird feeling, I felt myself getting tired as the hours passed and I started to get uncomfortable but eventually I was just hungry but as soon as a lay down anywhere after that I was out like a light, despite feeling wide awake.

I suppose thats what irn-bru, games and lack of sleep does lol.

Having nothing to do during the summer will do wonders for you.
Ever heard of a job.Students often get those over the summer time.

OT:My personal record is 43 days hours.
Oh dear god...I applied to 20 places.
Then I called them to follow up with the applications.
Result: nothing.
Although I did get a job at Vector about three weeks later...that was an experience.

the longest I've stayed awake was about 50 or so hours and that was on Christmas Eve and into the day after Christmas, I tried to sleep but the closest I got was 30 minutes of having my eyes closed.

I always need to sleep often but I did stay up 24 hours before. Even with caffeine I have to sleep even if its just a quick one hour powernap.

About 24 hours. I would wake up at about 10:00 A.M. and sleep at 10:00 A.M. the next day.

36 hours has been my maximum. I slept for about 17 hours afterwards, so I don't know if I could handle much more than that.
