Got my first console(SNES) in 93 or 94. I played games before that time, but the SNES was the first console we owned.

I've played games ever since I was 3 or 4. We got a FamiCon back then and due to my age, I was extraordinarily thick in playing sidescrolling beat em ups. The first time I actually considered myself as a gamer is at the age of 5-6 when I got the original Gameboy and my first Gameboy game was Super Mario Land.

Hmm... I started during the late 80's/early 90's... I was around 4-6 years old I think.

I used to play on a Commodore and a Megadrive when I was young kid (5-8), then when I was about 10 we got a Playstation and I've been a gamer as such since then.

Some of my earliest game memories were Sonic the Hedgehog and this really weird game called Wonder Boy that as far as I recall had something about mushrooms and fairies in it.

Seventeen years, back when I was a wee lad of two years. Sega Mega Drive (or 'Genesis').

Ha, wow, about 22 years, since I was 5 as far as I can remember. Started on Pacman at a youth centre (or something) and space invaders at a takeaway. Moved onto my friend's atari, then my own C64, and never looked back :D

This thread's surprised me, though, I expected a few more people of my, erm, experience to be replying. Though I guess I almost didn't. Ho hum

Sega Genesis/MegaDrive era.

Oh, good times.

The Lion King and Shinobi; do you really need anything else?

So since 1993-94?

Hmmmm... Been a while, hasn't it? Yes, it has. On 1991 with 1992, which in turn means about 17-18 years. Playing games on the Arcade like Bubble Bobble, Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man and Street Fighter II. I also grew up with some Rts gaming on my cousin's computer (Command and Conquer, Dune, Red Alert) and like many others at that time I also had a Gameboy with Tetris and a bunch of some other games.

I've been gaming ever since I could use a computer. If you count all the flash games and educational games that I played. But the moment that I hit real gamerhood was when I got the first call of duty at age 9. But I've only recently "discovered" multiplayer like 2 years ago. But some how I'm a pretty good player on almost every call of duty. I've also learns a lot about video games within a short amount of time. [rant]

I don't remember when I first started video gaming. It's always been there for me, as far back as my memory goes.
