hmmm, how long have I been playing for....

Well, I was born 1992... And I think my first encounter with video games was in 1995, when I played Mario Kart on the SNES for the first time...
And I've been an avid gamer ever since...

Haven't seen this thread in awhile. Simple question.

I've been playing since conception, lucky for me, my Mom ate a Calico Vision...don't ask, I never questioned it.
You mean a ColecoVision? Neat. I wanna ask, but I won't, since you asked us not to.

Me? I started by playing Mario Bros (Not SUPER, just plain Mario Bros), Defender, Punch-Out and Ms. Pac-Man in the arcade down from my house as a toddler. I'd have to stand on milk crates to see the screens. So, all in all, I've been gaming nearly 30 years now. I'm kind of a pro.
Shit, your right, I did spell that wrong, heh heh, happens to all of us

I played off and on since I was old enough to hold a flash gun, but I really didn't become a gamer till I was 12.

I guess Ive been "playing" since I had the brainpower and thumbs to actually play a game with the games objective in mind, but my parents had a NES that I pretty much cut my teeth on but my earliest memories are of playing that, my Sega Megadrive and later the Playstation that my old man got me for christmas when I was what....5? Short answer to your question would be "all my life?"

pregnancy can give you some weird cravings. Anyway, I've been playing games since the N64. I think I remember playing some PS1 at my parent's friend's house.

I started out around when Diablo 1 came out, and in years I have been gaming for a bit over 15 years.

Hmmm, I'm 22 now, so... 22 years? lol, as long as I can remember. I used to play on my brothers gameboy and Sega Genesis, then I got the Genesis when he upgraded to the N64 and I got a 64 of my own a couple years later. We never had PCs that could run new games, but I remember playing King's Quest and Oregon Trail a lot, and I used to play any browser based games I could find. My parents were poor and hated games so I had to rely on second hand stuff from friends and my older brother.

1977, my parents bought me a Binatone TV game 4+2. That's 34 years of computer gaming.

Since I was about 3 (I'm 21 now). My dad is a gamer and has been since he was a kid. I started out with The Lion King, Aladdin and various shareware pinball games. I quickly progressed onto the likes of Dune II, Crusader: No Remorse, MechWarrior 2, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle and BioForge. Those were the days.

I was about three and I think the first game I played was Duck Hunt on the NES. So...around 18 years of gaming.

Edit: I'd stand close to the TV, with the zapper on the screen, and shoot those ducks.

About 23 years, give or take. I began playing games on one of these:

The glorious Amstrad CPC 464 with built in Cassette deck and monochromatic green screen. Behold the power!!
That's how I got my start in gaming too. It woulda been 21 years ago for me, with Scrabble being the first game I ever played.
