Zero days zero hours zero minutes and zero seconds. I got the game for free when I bought a new PS3 and it's still wrapped. I just don't want to even bother based on things I've heard and my disappointment with Modern Warfare 2.

About twelve hours or so. The only reason I even played that long was because my roommates kept insisting we play that instead of anything else.
I couldn't even finish the single player mission on that game, much less prestige in multiplayer. It wasn't any fun unless you put the effort in to make it ridiculous, and even then it was mediocre. Running around with tomahawks and the crossbow in every game was about the closest I got, and even then it was a very meh experience. The maps were horribly designed, emphasizing CQC over everything else, snipers (typically my weapons of choice) were beyond useless in any situation; completely inaccurate at any distance, wouldn't hit the cross hairs unless you waited about fifteen seconds between shots, and couldn't even kill in one hit unless you got a headshot. Stupid design choice for a game like that.
I could go on for quite a while, but I'll cut it off there. I hit the end of the first level-up cycle, looked at the option to prestige, and laughed in its face.

I've had it since December. I don't play it that much right now but that's because I've put countless hours into the multiplayer (reached level 50 long ago and I refuse to prestige) played the zombies mode a bit and beaten the story a couple times. Yes I like black ops. In fact it's the only COD game that I really like. MW1 is shit IMO, MW2 had a fun story mode but the online was horribly unbalanced.
But yeah I like alot of things about black ops, and only really dislike a few nit-picky things about it.

See I liked black ops because it was not like MW2. Besides, you should at least try the modes especially if you have a friend who would be willing to join you. If I didn't try games that I expected to be boring I wouldn't played Bioshock, Fallout 3, Black Ops and Portal 2 just to name a few.TheLoneBeet said:

It's an okay arcade shooter, but when I want a quick fix of anything like that, a counterstrike 1.6 session is just as good.

Played round a mates house confirmed my thoughts before its release.
Its COD but looks worse, worse maps, worse community and loads of gimmicks which mess up game play and balance. After all crossbows and motion tracker with a massive range, Treyarch don't understand games at all.
