With an unbelievable amount of great games coming out this year and into next year. which games have fallen into your backlog?

I just recently built my first gaming PC, so I'm pretty dang behind.

Bioshock
Witcher 2
Bastion
Resistance 3
and soon to be AC:R, plus many many more.

What about you?

Its about to get a hell of a lot longer in two days. Because Bethesda games are nothing if not mind-numbingly long.

With steam sales.... it's pretty long.

Batman Arkham Asylum is most prominent, but also Serious Sam, Crysis (though I've all but given up on it now), Doom 3, FEAR 2, Mass Effect, Deus Ex 1, Lost Planet, Assassin's Creed, Just Cause 2, Splinter Cell Conviction,

On 360 I have been engineering a backlog as I know for Christmas I will have to abandon my PC and i'll only be able to take one console with me. So Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach, Bayonetta and others are waiting for me.

I've pretty much cleared my backlog on PS3. I've only really got Resistance 3 I want to play on PS3 and I'm in no hurry.

My backlog is huge.

Portal 2
Resistance 3
Dead Space 2 (thinking of removing, on account of the multiplayer being shoehorned-in)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Killzone 3
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time
Ratchet & Clank: all 4 One
God of War I & II HD Edition
LittleBig Planet 1 & 2
Limbo
Driver: San Francisco

So, yeah. I've got a bit of catching up to do.

All those Humble Bundle games have been piling up lately. Also, all the fallout dlc, AC Brotherhood, God Of War 3, Bastion, Outland,...

Too much to name. Even though I know I have limited time, I can´t help but buy all those games.

aaaaww, what I'd give to be able to go back and play Blood Money for the first time, again.

Actually, it's so much fun to play through it a second time -but- nooo, must resist the urge!

Must. Play. New games!

ohbuttheoldonesaresogoooood! No other game is such a satisfying and meticulous murder simulator, executing the perfect crime and walking away, then being paid for it. My god, that was one of the few games I 100%. Made every death look like an "unfortunate accident".

The multiplayer may not be all that great, but I highly recommend you get it because the singleplayer is awesome. :p

Really really really damn long, and I really don't feel like listing them all. Mainly because it makes me feel like I'm never going to finish them all and very sad.

I think I have 10 games in my backlog, and it's not helping that more are coming out...

I'm with you, I believe I have games from a few years ago that still need playing... If I count all my steam games...I don't even want to know how long that would take me to finish everything..

Hell I could probably take off a year of work and do nothing but play games and still not be finished. That's not even counting on the games/series that I want to replay either. God damn I should be more selective with my games

Hmm, I actually worry quite a bit about my gaming backlog, it's been kind of long lately. Some of the games on there are getting pretty old. I won't even think about the fact that when I was younger I only beat about 1 or 2 of my 40 or so Ps1 games. Just for 360 for the time being though, we have:

Alone in the Dark (I doubt I'll ever beat that.)
darkSector (Maybe one day on some down-time.)
The Darkness (I really should. I didn't get stuck, I just never completed it.)
Dead Space (One day.)
F.E.A.R. 1 & 2 (I didn't really like these games but got to the very end on both of them, and got stuck. Usually I leave the game and come-back a few weeks months and replay the game completely. With these I just had no will to.)
Halo Wars (This game pisses me off, and I may not ever beat it.)
Kameo: Elements of Power (Yeah, old. I don't know if I'll ever get around to it.)
Lost Odyssey (Love it. Need a strategy guide. Haha.)
Mercenaries 2 (Got stuck and just never revisited it.)
Lost Planet (Stuck.)
Perfect Dark: Zero (Could never get into it. Maybe one day.)
Ninja Gaiden II (Frustrated all to crap. Doubt I'll ever beat it but I'm sure it will get played more.)
R.U.S.E. (Lost a later mission once and took a break for the day. Turned into a break for forever.)
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (It's so long, and so silly! I liked it a lot, but I just get so sick of it after a while.)
