How long would it take you before you realized you're an NPC?

IF you were in a game right now, what would be the clue in that you're actually an NPC?

Mine would be that all my weapons don't have names...or if they were all standard issued guns in a war that I had a backstory that I was compelled to explain to the rookie.

Not being able to move through my own accord would be a pretty big giveaway for me i reckon.

If I had to stand outside of my house all day long, talking to random strangers and making them do my evil bidding, I'd probably realize it.

The exclamation mark above my head would be a dead giveaway.

My inexplicable changes in accent when conversing with the adverturers of Cyrodil.

If random people entered my home and opened up my locked chests and I did nothing about it, then I would know.

As soon as I realized I could only say a handful of sentences and saw one or more people sprinting around in a very OCD manner, raiding everything in sight without penalty, and becoming ludicrously powerful.

Then I would know...

If I could only say two-three phrases on a loop. Then again as an NPC surely I lack the capacity to respond to anything other than the X button and so couldn't form an existential thought.

I'd probably be a redshirt whose body-armour did oddly little to protect me from any harm and get taken down in one shot while the guy next to me could eat a million-billion bullets for breakfast. Oh, and my guns were all piss-weak or inaccurate while the exact same gun used by said other guy actually did something and hit what it was aimed at.

Also, I wouldn't be able to just pick up the health kits.

I wouldn't know, i wouldn't know anything other then my 5 or 6 lines of dialog, i wouldn't know what else was out there, robots don't know they are robots, computers don't know they are computers.
