How long your worst worst string of bad rolls in dnd or what was your worst roll

So I'm pretty new to dnd, this is my first campaign and today it took 3 of our party at least 10 or so rolls between all of them to beat a weakened guard that was on the floor unconscious. For some reason no one could roll higher than an 8 and we didnt have any weapons or armor because we had been captured and we were escaping. Another time our rouge rolled a 1 on an attack roll and almost stabbed himself in the leg, he had to guess weather the dm rolled odd or even twice to avoid it.

so my question is what was your worst rolling experience?

well there was the time our cleric got hit in the balls by another character with her head going full speed. He then for the next three quests or so had terrible luck at rolling, we'd always blame it on "ball aneurysms"

Fighting a troll, only character still standing, start rolling shit. Not fun.

Had to roll a new character and switch dice it was so bad.

My friend summoned an Eagle then rolled a one on attack. Sufficed to say it hit a tree and broke its neck. Granted I was just observing because I don't know DnD all that well.
