I want to know, because whoever thought of it should be slapped.
It just ate my sega CD collection, mainly becuase I wasn't expecting it to start playing the disc as soon as I put it in.

My xbox hasn't ruined any of my discs, and I've had it since they first released the 360.

But I do always make sure to take out my disc quickly whenever my xbox starts acting funny.

I think my original 360 ate Ninetey-Nine-Nights shortly before it gave up the ghost and died, but none since then. (I couldn't really blame it for destroying that particular game though....)

Mine ruined 1 disc which was Call of Duty Modern 4: Modern Warfare. I had the 360 standing vertically and my friend tripped over a cable plugged into it and knocked it over.

Wasn't even my copy of the game so I had to pay the friend I borrowed it from a new copy.

Mine scratched one of my disks, my Assassin's Creed 2 disk, but I managed to get it repaired okay at Game and it's worked fine ever since. I think also it was because I moved the console while the disk was inside and it was switched on, which I normally never do, so it was my own fault anyway rather than the fault of the game or the console :p

I think it was doing you a favor.

OT: None whatsoever, but I have had two red rings though.

None, never had an issue with my 360.

It's 3 years in November since I bought it...no problems so far xD

My 360's, over the course of 3 of them, ruined only 2 games, but 3 DVD's.

One.

Fallout: New Vegas.

It fell over, the disk was ruined. Luckily I rented the game from redbox, installed onto the hdd and I can play with the ruined disk, but the disk is still ruined and any bad patches or dlc that come out in the future have a good chance of keeping me from playing the game again now that redbox's around here don't carry new vegas anymore.

Mine have never ruined any of my games. My cousin's boyfriend's, on the other hand, ate my Halo 3 in seven minutes of playing campaign.

All my discs are fine. The only time I've ever even heard of it happening to people around me is when they stupidly try to move the console whilst playing a game.

Zero.

I always take the disc out before moving the 360.
I almost always take them out anyways, even if I'm going to play the game again in a couple of hours. Just to be safe!
