How many DS's have you ever had?

For a while I had two DS's, an original and Lite (a white one which manages to attract all manner of muck)
Anyway, got another DS as the first's touch screen went all over the place. Then I broke it in half. Oops.
So now I just have a single filthy DS.

iv had two origanals

2 DS lits, both black, and a red and black one

and when my checq clears, im getting one of the new ones, the DS I i think it is.

so iv had a grand total of 5, soon to be 6.
my problum is i tap the screen too hard.

I'm on my third original DS now. I've never bought a DS lite and I probably won't. I'm not planning on buying a DSi either, but I may if it gets some good games that are only playable on the DSi.

I'm currently on my 4th DS. The touch screen stopped working on the first one, the second one got beat up so bad that the shoulder buttons stopped working, and the third one (a DS Lite) worked well until the hinge broke. My 4th one is still going fairly strong. My mom has a DSi, but I don't see any point in picking one up for myself until either my current DS breaks, or there's enough good DSiWare titles to justify putting down another $150.

So the percentage is going up, which backs up my theory that Nintendo are certainly not right in their claims because if gamers buy 1 DS, it seems they usually buy an upgrade or replacement too!

me too, I got it the first Christmas after it was released, as did my brother. We enjoyed the free pictochat feature for maybe 45 minutes total across that day and have barely used it since.

2. My brother snapped my first in half after he lost in Mario Cart So I replaced it and never bothered upgrading from the original.

I had a second-hand DS, then a black DS Lite, a cyan DS Lite and now have a red DS Lite. The old DS is okay, but the black one's mic broke and the cyan one's L button stopped working.

I got the original model on release day (unplanned, I just happened to be in the shop and thought "why not") which I eventually traded in as part payment on a black DS Lite... which I'll be trading in for 360 games soon because I only have one game for it which I haven't played in months.

5. 1 Gray DS, (Broken) 1 Red DS, (The top Screen's falling off but it still works) 1 White DS Lite, (Broken due to a product defect) 1 Red & Black DS Lite, (Spotless!) 1 Limited edition LoZ DS Lite.
I may add a DSi if they make an American model that comes in a color other than "Generic Black" and "Its a boy! blue".
