I think between 10 million to 1 billion wouldn't be inaccurate, though precisely where I have no idea.

I've been gaming for something like 23 years now. At this point, I've probably depopulated an entire spiral arm of the galaxy.

I did not play Defcon yet - but there still are Supreme Commander, World In Conflict, Command And Conquer, and a fuckload of other games.

Even if we are talking direct kills - there are Call Of Duty, Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, GTA and Saints Row... tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.

Adolf Hitler has nothing on me. *twitches eye*

Let's see. I started gaming when I was about three. I'm seventeen now. Counting every game I've ever played, from Sonic The Hedgehog on the Mega Drive all those years ago to Left 4 Dead 2 a few hours ago the death toll must be well into the trillions. Games like Galactic Civilizations and also RTS games of course accounting for a large fraction of the deaths (imagine every person on a planet that's just been annihilated by a world destroying superweapon, or every crew member on one of those capital ships in Homeworld 2)

I am guilty of mass murder, genocide and the extermination of cultures and entire species.

Awesome.

TF2 regularly, COD games, L4D and other shooters

Many, MANY RTSs, in which I include the Total War series, and I count the deaths of my own men I caused through tactics or folly

Also Spore, where you occasionally blow up planets before you quit out of boredom

And Black and White, where I tortured and maimed a million of my own worshippers because they dared demand housing

good god...I've killed more people than have ever died In Real Life! Ever!

Millions, possibly 3 million? Over half a million from Dead Rising alone... (Not in one playthrough, that'd be mad, but the amount I've played it is insane)

Think of it this way, most games you play have 50+ enemies per level. If you game alot then it builds up. And there's other games where it's necessary to kill hundreds per level. Plus online games. Also any enemies you've killed and that have 'respawned' because you died.

EDIT: Maybe millions is an exaggeration, but it's at the very least the higher end of what I found've killed. Also, I'm the kind of person who kills everything in games, regardless of whether I need to or not.

Probably around enough to populate a small country if you count the Star Wars RTS I played. Used the Death Star on a planet.

Ok a tough question but its bugging me, how many enemies have you destroyed since you started gaming, the the nearest hundred thousand I guess.

For me, I've been gaming for about 13 years, say fifteen games a year (that involve killing), and on average three hundred enemies a game (Left 4 dead and dead rising might boost that up a bit). That would give me an average of 58,500. Add another 10,000 on top for variables and thats a total of 68,500.
I don't kill anything in video games, Im a pacifist. Makes it realllllly hard to beat RPGs....To be serious probably over 100,000 if you include online players.

hmm, 25,000 online in halo 2. 7,500 in halo 3. 18,000 in COD4. 5,000 in MW2. My four main games for killing humans. So right now I'm at about 55,500 for actual people over live that I've murdered.

I'm going to be honest, I can even begin to fathom how many kills I've made in game. It's in the millions, probably bordering the billions.
