How often do you purchase a game (let's say on Steam cause of the christmas sale) and tell yourself "I'll get to it later, just gunna finish these other games first". Then you get another game, because it's a new release and you wanted. Then another, and another, the list keeps growing.

How many games do you have backlogged?

Myself, across several platforms (PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, PC) I have roughly about 130 games backlogged.

I dropped ME near the last few missions, I still have ME2 after that. My friend's letting me borrow Arkham City but I haven't even opened the case yet.

Around 10-20, I think, maybe less. I have games I want to play/finish on the PS1, PS2, PSP, PC, and Xbox 360, not counting a few emulated ones.

It saddens me. I kind of miss getting about two games a year, and playing the HELL out of them before I got another one. Gaming seemed a lot more personal back then.

I always have dozens of games I want to replay, but in terms of games I haven't played before, 52 according to my lists on my desk here. I intend to give them all a chance, and I'm likely to eventually get through at least 40 of those.

Currently working on the original Silent Hill (I didn't own a PS1, and it only recently came to Australia's PSN store) and Fallout 2.

I've only added one game from the Steam Sale so far, which is Fable 1. It'll probably get worse by the end.

A lot more than I'd like to admit (and good games to say the least). Seriously though, I'm pretty busy all year long and a lot of my free time is eaten up with family or friend outings. So I'm not always in a situation where I am just at home, have a lot of spare time to get into an hour or two of gaming.

Still, I never let a quest go unfinished and before I know it, I'll be helplessly struggling to find a game that I want to buy and complete.

I've got a silly amount of games on backlog. I know I definitely have Skyrim there and I know I need to check out the Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC. I'd also like to check out Payday: The Heist, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Spiral Knights more than I currenty have. I also wish I had the oppotunity to have a good and complete playthrough of Mount & Blade: Warband and With Fire & Sword which I've yet to get the chance to despite the 154 hours played on Warband and 23 hours on With Fire & Sword. There's also Orcs Must Die and Dawn Of War 2 (and both expansion packs) that I want to properly finish.

Just not enough time in the day.

Okay. I got this.

-Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
-Assassin's Creed 2
-Really should play Minecraft more, though that has no "win" condition

Since my only seventh-gen console is a Wii, most of the HD games have to be bought for PC. Because of that, I get a few games that might work better on a console (mostly on Steam), but some of them work with my Dualshock (like Assassin's Creed) and some don't.

-Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (which I'm going to have to finish before I start Skyward Sword)
-Okami
-Xenoblade Chronicles (u mad, America?)
-Metroid Prime Trilogy (all three of them)
-Super Mario Galaxy (beaten, but not with 120 stars)
-Lego Harry Potter 1-4 (co-op with sister)

Whole lot of massive adventures that I've barely started, though I think I've made the most progress in Okami. Also, although I did talk about Skyward Sword next to Twilight Princess, it's actually pretty unlikely I'll ever play it at all.

-Knights in the Nightmare
-Pokemon Diamond
-Pokemon Heart Gold
-Final Fantasy 4
-Chrono Trigger

What? Don't look at me like that! ...Okay, I guess I'd better explain my JRPG fixation before any of you flame me. To be honest, I don't find the "angsty teenagers" bit a bad thing in and of itself, nor the linearity or automatic levelling up. In fact, some things like that make my head hurt in WRPGs, so if I had to play all the way through either Final Fantasy 13 or Oblivion, I'd take the former. Take that for whatever it's worth, and it's probably only worth a few flames. So flame away, if you feel you must.

-Batman: Arkham Asylum
-Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
-Psychonauts
-Amnesia: The Dark Descent
-Bastion
-Braid
-Cave Story+
-Sanctum
-Super MAH BOI
-World of Goo
-Cthulhu Saves the World
-Deus Ex
-Deux Ex: Human Revolution
-King's Bounty: The Legend
-Mass Effect
-Battlefield: Bad Company 2
-Bioshock (once I get the sound working)
-Max Payne
-Max Payne 2
-Metro 2033 (unstarted)
-Painkiller
-Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl
-Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
-Half-Life
-Half-Life 2
-Half-Life 2: Episode 1
-Half-Life 2: Episode 2
-Half-Life: Blue Shift
-Half-Life: Opposing Force (all my Half-Life games except 2.0 are unstarted)
-And Yet It Moves (unstarted)
-Bit.Trip Runner
-Jamestown
-The other two King's Bounty games (unstarted)
-Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale (unstarted)

That's not even the complete list. I left off a few games that I thought I was unlikely to ever finish. And I also have a bunch of "lunch-break" games and a (very small) few that I've actually beaten. And I plan to get at least six more "full" games during the Christmas sale. ...Now that I think about it, I'm starting to scare myself.

For the record, the ordering is from reading downwards through the "detailed" listing on the Steam client, except I've sorted them into arbitrary categories which makes it not quite alphabetical.

And guess what's blocking all these games? Each other. I can never concentrate on one game for more than about an hour.
