How many here are artists, and what kind of artist?

I'm a struggling cartoonist working on comic strips for a local newspaper. I'm not great, but I guess I don't suck if I get paid for drawing obscene little cartoons.

Ah but how can one thing not truly count in a world where every slight action has an equal or opposite reaction? Where the tinniest flap of a butterflies wings could cause a class 5 hurricane across the world....

I'm a decent drummer and a mediocre bassist. I have written the lyrics to seven songs and composed the instrumental sections of three of them. I also write short stories, but they appear to have gone completely nowhere as of now.

I draw in a retro art style that I enjoy.

I've played trumpet for 5 years, piano for 3, guitar for half a year, and am picking up the violin as soon as they ship in from my old place.(Antonius Stradivarius Violins if you must know and there's 3!)

I am apparently a accomplished poet having been put into the American Poet's Society Award Ceremony for my short Poem, "Rainfall"
