That I know of definitively? I think it's my 80 hour Zelda: Twilight Princess file. But I recently worked out that I would have played the GCN version of Animal Crossing for over 1000 hours. Not sure of an exact figure, but give how much I loved that game that figure doesn't really surprise me.

On a single file, that I know of for sure, the first Kingdom Hearts with around 120 hours. Not as impressive as some of these though!

The only one I have accurately to hand is on Football manager 2013 I've only got 1 career going and it's logged as 146 hours played at the moment. I think I had over 200 hours on FFX where I did everything. Though I'm not entirely sure on that.

EDIT: Thinking about it, it's probably my RuneScape account from when I was younger. I played it from about 4 years from about 2003-2007, sunk many hours into it.

I've got some 200+ hours on my sole Skyrim file. I've completed just about every quest, save the DLC.

In terms of a single game, though... Kingdom Hearts II has sucked out at least 310-ish hours from my life. I'm still not done with my first file (all I need is to 100% the Gummi levels!) and I know I'll replay it again. So I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay at the top of my most-played list.

How some of you are managing over 500 hours on single files (barring online games) is beyond me. How don't you run out of things to do? Or, do you just leave it turned on for days?

With the Japanese RPG games on SNES, I used to consider 50-60 hours my absolute limit.

Then along came Dark Souls, where I am happily enjoying zen moment after zen moment even after 200+ hours on a single save file, whilst keeping all sorts of characters that I'll happily take up for another spin once I find the time to properly get into the DLC.

I pretty much always limit one playthrough to one save file; my highest probably being about 130 hours spent on Fallout 3 (including all DLC) as I was kind of obsessed with that game for a while. I may have racked up more time than that on the old pokemon games; Gold in particular I know I spent at least 100 hours on and my collective saves from ME2 probably add up to at least 200 hours or so. Though as someone else mentioned, outside of online games I really don't know how you can spend 500 hours on something without getting a little sick of it or at least running out of things to do.

I'm on about 150 hours on my first character in Skyrim, and I'm nowhere near done.

Fallout 3 got to 127 hours before my Xbox decided "NO MORE" and refused to play it any more. (That reminds me I still need to pick it up for PS3 for come Capital Wasteland awesomeness)

Then there's something like 50 hours for each of my Mass Effect 1 saves and the same again for Mass Effect 2.

It didn't keep track of hours, but I also sunk a ridiculous amount of hours into playing LEGO Racers when I was a kid (so much so that my parents had to ban me from playing it with the sound on because the menu music was driving them insane & they were humming it in their sleep and things).

Most would have to be my first playthrough on Skyrim (After which I never returned to that game), racking up 283 hours. Loved the game for a long time, then stopped because I was bored and never came back.

My Pokemon White version has 300 hours right now and I'm still playing it.

Skyrim has 150 hours in one character.

Killing Floor is 108 hours, still playing.

And I don't even want to know how many hours I have on one of my old Runescape characters, my god.

Hmm, from what I remember:
80+ hours in Final Fantasy X;
100+ hours in Persona 4 (with NG+).

Also, 130+ hours in Team Fortress 2.

Counter Strike and MMO's don't really have save files so i guess i'll say Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - 106 hours.

Well if it doesn't actually have to be a save game per se' then that'd be Guild Wars 2 at a number of hours I cant even count. If it has to be an actual save game then pic related.

Assuming MMO's count, I have probably about 100-150 days worth of time playing on my main over the course of 6 years or so. Aside from that...probably 200 or so hours on my nord spellsword in oblivion.

Probably at least 300 in LoL. Most that shows is 215 in Ruby (full pokedex and everything), followed by 160 in Gold, 125 in Empire: Total War and 107 in ME2. I've probably spent at least 300 in WC3, but that game doesn't have an indicator.
I'll see your 125 in Empire:TW and raise you 187 (for a total of 312). Iv also put in 105 hrs on Skyrim but I probably doubled that on Morrowind.

Great thread till that guy who clocked like 10 years playing Civ2 pops along and posts his hours spent. :p

I think my own longest save game would probably be Suikoden, though for the life of me I cant recall a number. All I know is that I spent a lot of time ensuring every single one of the 108 stars of destiny was levelled up to the max, for no reason other than "just because.".

I had 715 hours on a single Fallout 3 save file. I fucking loved that game.
But don't you reach the level cap in like 30-40 hours, even with Broken Steel? What the hell keeps people playing these games so freakishly long? My maximum is TF2 at 218 hours, though it doesn't even have save files, so I'll say close to 108 hours on my first Skyrim character. Other than that I very rarely surpass even the 60 hour mark, I just get bored of the same save file.

True but I loved to explore and roleplay in the game. Not just try and hit the level cap.
