Ninja'd already, except it's Final Fantasy VIII. I think the clock might have changed to red, kinda pointing out it won't register any more hours being played.Sniper Team 4 said:I maxed out the save timer for Final Fantasy VII when I was little. This was back when the rumors of reviving Aerith were still around, and I was trying EVERYTHING. I was also maxing everyone's stats by morphing certain creatures into the sources. My party was a party of gods and the clock read 99:99. I've always remembered that, though I'm sure there are save files where the time is much high nowadays.
Hi! I'm that guy.Fasckira said:Great thread till that guy who clocked like 10 years playing Civ2 pops along and posts his hours spent.
I think my own longest save game would probably be Suikoden, though for the life of me I cant recall a number. All I know is that I spent a lot of time ensuring every single one of the 108 stars of destiny was levelled up to the max, for no reason other than "just because.".
Likety-like! How did you manage to sink so much time into FFXI though?Aeonknight said:Hi! I'm that guy.Fasckira said:Great thread till that guy who clocked like 10 years playing Civ2 pops along and posts his hours spent.

Not Civ 2, but FFXI:
1155 days, 20 hours, 56 minutes.
sooo
27,741 hours. and counting.
Won't lie, wasn't always at the keyboard for all of that time. however there's generally always something to do. helping friends, going back through and helping newcomers with missions and such, leveling a new job, even some pvp (did a LOT of this back when it was new and thriving.)Fasckira said:Likety-like! So did I but I had every nick and corner explored in around 10% of that amount. Ah well, you had fun so yay.ShinyCharizard said:True but I loved to explore and roleplay in the game. Not just try and hit the level cap.bartholen said:But don't you reach the level cap in like 30-40 hours, even with Broken Steel? What the hell keeps people playing these games so freakishly long? My maximum is TF2 at 218 hours, though it doesn't even have save files, so I'll say close to 108 hours on my first Skyrim character. Other than that I very rarely surpass even the 60 hour mark, I just get bored of the same save file.ShinyCharizard said:I had 715 hours on a single Fallout 3 save file. I fucking loved that game.
