I'd say on average about 6 hours a night.
I'm in bed in the hour of midnight most nights and get up at 7am.

It varies for me.

But I usually get maybe about 5 hours a night.
I wake up constantly throughout the night. -.-

Generally speaking, two. Three if I'm tired. Stay up if I can't afford to sleep (which happens regularly, sometimes two days in a row). Lots of stuff to do.

I'm not sure how I'm still alive. Got used to this, I suppose. The three weeks I had recently of only sleeping/eating every other day were pretty harsh, though.

6-7 on school days, anywhere up to 12 on the weekends. I for sure dont get enough, but what ever, I dont mind being tired for the first half of the day.

If I don't have any lectures that day I probably get about 8-10. If I do have lectures then 5 or 6

Good grief. What do you do? Hibernate in a cave?

I get anywhere from 2 hours to 7 hours. Unfortunately, the most I've been getting this past week has been 4 hours.
I can't operate correctly if I get any less than 12...<.<
With that much sleep, I'd feel like I slept too much.
No such thing as too much sleep... I've slept more than 24 hours before when I was really tired...<.<
there is seriously something wrong with you. what the fuck is your diet?

you should try and do the micro nap sleeping method, so you dont waste 3/4 of your life sleeping.

OT: it varies quite often, but like this past night i got 3, sometimes it will be 5, and on average after being really tired from work and soccer i will usually sleep 7-9

the most i have ever slept in my life is roughly 11, which was when i was near on my deathbed of sickness.

your body is probably alot better at REM'ing instead of just lying there. (which i wish my body was better at it, i vary so damn much in my sleeping habits)

Very good point, thanks. That explains a lot. I'll just continue being massively unhealthy, then.

See? Never having to face long-term consequences does have its advantages!

Also, wow, I seem to be getting quoted a great deal in the last few days. Did I miraculously become kinda-sorta-interesting-ish while I wasn't looking?

Nah, probably coincidence. Seems more plausible.

from what i know of, its actually not unhealthy, if your still getting your REM (which is roughly 1.5-2 hours a night) then you are perfectly healthy. Most people however need that whole 7 hours of whatever for the body to be kicked into REM mode, and the other time sleeping is usually spent healing wounds/stuff.

so if you get majorly boned in a car accident or something, then yeah, your "unhealthy", otherwise it seems like your perfectly healthy in some cases.

(figured i should source it, its quite interesting really)

ditto. I'd rather sleep most of the day out of boredom.
It's not even boredom for me... I'm just exhausted if I get any less...<.<
Wow.

...wow.

You sure you don't have some...some...syndrome 'r'wuteva?
