I would say that no more than 3 is good. If you have 2 and then try for a third and get twins or triplets and end up with 4 or 5 kids because of it is fine to.

It had to be done.
Haha Total awesome sauce. Anyway I'd have to say one. I hate kids but I sorta of want a smaller version of me that I don't have to clean up.... To Skynet!

Honestly 1-2, maybe 3 tops.

Think about it 2 people are need to create 1 person, so if we keep to about 1-2 per woman than no (or less of a) population increase.

Im going to ignore all the flaming in the last few pages, and say that I personally think that more than two kids is too many in this day and age. There are three kids in my family, and with both my parents working full time, now that I'm older I can see that they don't have the time to parent my younger brother anymore because they're too busy working to pay the bills and put food on the table.
Also, I believe 2 to be a far more ideal number for parenting. This, coming from the middle child of the family (and yes, middle child syndrome DOES exist!)
*Whenever there are fights, they can only ever be one-on-one. Of course, there will be some advantage to whomever is older, but you'll never have two teaming up on one
*Parent-to-child ratio is 1:1. Family outings, gatherings, during fights - you can always have a parent taking care of or talking to each child. Thus it is less likely that a child will be left out.

I personally think that the more children you have, the harder it is to parent effectively and raise decent human beings.

Thats my opinion anyway
Two kiddies for me :D

I only want one kid. At tops. But if you really can afford it and want it and could handle it I guess 19 is ok. I really think that those kids aren't going to have a good life, though, because they're growing up in a place with 18 other kids. I doubt that the family can afford nice things for all of them or be able to treat them all equally.
