One

And I've been to many other countries. Yes, I'm that douchebag that refuses to try to learn more than a smattering of a place he intends to stay for a few weeks.

English and Japanese, and I'm studying Chinese (Mandarin) now since I have to use it at work. I also studied German, French, and Italian, but I've lost most of those. I can still read French, but I can't speak it or understood it spoken anymore.

I wish I could speak some Irish.
The languages I can speak are English, Spanish, bits of German and French. The odd word of Italian...

I used to be able to count to ten in Japanese, but that was some time ago.

English and French. I'm also in the process of learning Russian, but it's slow going. Probably the whole new alphabet thing.

I dare say my English is fluent. I believe the human brain can only learn to speak 2 languages fluently. This would explain my inability to learn anymore languages (Ive had German and French for 2 years complete with after school tutoring, had to drop them because id fail my exams otherwise) My other language is Dutch, naturally.

Erm, anyone can understand any language when it's subtitled.
I think he meant written Japanese ...
Oh...
Nothing to worry about. It happens every once in a while. At least you're not like me, who misreads everything as long as I'm awake five minutes more than usual -.-
It's annoying not being able to speak to people just because of that -.-
