I'm good at maths, it's just because of the gratifying sense of accomplishment that you get when you crack a tough equation.

Wouldn't boast that I know everything though.

I am not going back to studying with 16 year olds and getting A levels so I can have a nervous breakdown at uni. It would cost me too much (financially and psychologically).

I don't hate many things as I feel that 'hate' is such a strong word, I tend to use 'dislike intensely. Of course, mathematics is one of the few exceptions, I hate maths. So. Much.

being one of the most inteligent in my family i can say I am a maths geek. I find doing impossibly hard simitainious equations fun, and my mum has a degree in maths so it runs in the family.

I'm not really a math geek, but I love doing math.

It's hard to explain, but I'm more a fan of the logic puzzles involved in math. Just figuring out which equations to apply in which way are what attract me to it. It's the same reason I'm a fan of puzzle games.

I just about passed my maths GCSE as after that I've never had to deal with maths again. So long and good riddance. I'm an English and Literature kind of guy.

My girlfriend is, and I wish I was. It really is the purest science. There is something so beautiful [but incomprehensible] about it. That occasional moment of satisfaction when you figure out something particularly tricky is almost unparalleled. I'm still going to fail my upcoming exam, though..=/

Math is satisfying when you understand the subject, the formula's, and can solve the problem.

But for me, my teacher is a fucking retard and doesn't know what he is doing half the time, so math has become very frustrating. However, I do kind of like math, just not pre-calc.

That said my love of Pen and Paper Roleplaying has made me pretty good and damn fast at basic math and straight forward calculations.
