Your not alone, I too don't care about death and will go unafraid into the darkness when it arrives. At least I have stopped looking forward to it though.

PS: for the whole hurting another thing. That is the only reason I am still breathing, I can't inflict that sort of pain onto the ones who cares for me. I don't understand why they would feel that way (I am so broken) but it would suck to have to feel that loss and I won't willingly let them feel it on my behalf.

I don't care so much about my own death, but I'd be very upset and saddened if anyone that I knew or loved died. That sort of thing is horrible to think about. I want to specialise in oncology, so the idea of patients of mine dying is something I'll have to get used to, which is a little sad, but that's just the way things are.

I care quite a bit about dying. The lack of any proof of an afterlife leads me to suspect that being dead would be quite boring (yes I know the dead cannot feel boredom). But I like seeing how things turn out, I like seeing the course of events and the passage of history, so I plan to stay alive for as long as possible. Who knows, maybe forever at the rate science is moving along.

I hate greiving people, when my dad died everyone was upset but I didn't feel anything - in fact I was more embarrassed by the fact that I was the only one not crying...
