I've written Game Reviews in the past for pleasure. I don't do poetry or creative writing because I'm not...well, creative enough.

I used to do it much more often than I do now. I don't know what it is but reading and writing online, forums, etc. really seems to dull my capacity for creative writing - I think my analytical and creative thought processes just don't like each other much so when one comes out to play the other takes his toys and goes home.

When I get a spark, though, I can write for hours without coming up for air. And it is wonderful. Finished my novel for NaNoWriMo with about 10 days left in the month because I just got into it and flew. ...but I still haven't touched it since then for editing. x.x;

I started writing a book when I was ten and am still trying to write it today. However the story has changed so drastically so many times that I am still working on the first chapter. I constantly am juggling the alignment of characters at different points in the story between revisions. My main character has changed so many times, at one point I ended up revising the entire story that I had and taking my main character at the time and splitting him into two sub characters and then creating a new main from scratch.

Though chaotic at times I thoroughly enjoy it, it allows me to be unlimitedly creative.
I am in the exact same situation haha I just let my imagination run away with itself and by the time I have reeled it back in the story no longer makes sense.

I love the process of writing. But I do tend to hate most of my work when I'm finished.

I do it when I feel like it, which is a bit too rare. I should write more considering how much I love doing it, it's just that I can get bored easily.

I write some buttery lyrics, but I can only do aggressive lyrics, I've tried doing different stuff but it's just not as good.

Started during high school, trying to distract myself from emo poems with fanfiction and then original fiction. Right now, I'm working on a story of a reaally bad assassin, and then another about a teenage delinquent who was framed (Spoiler warning).

I keep three hand-written journals, four online ones, and I write essays because I like to.

I love writting! In fact I want to be an author. This past Novermber I spent the entire month writing a 50,000 word novella and I hope to have it published soon. But alas I feel your pain of not having enough time to write... but school work must take priority.

If I had the time, trust me, I would write my ass off. I'd probably write so much you'd demand I stop writing because you were sick of my productivity. But 5th year of high school is a bad time to dedicate to anything other than school work up here in the cold northern wastes of Britain.

There have been times where I have just word splurged, and I've felt better after it, it comes at extremely random times though I'm afraid, it's not a solid hobby like drawing.

I write out several stories at once. Hell, one's currently on it's 24th chapter and has been ongoing for a year (I took a hiatus from if to work on a comic for a competition).

I still hate writing stuff for a grade though.

Yes.

Unfortunately, they get no where.

I have like 50 gazillon files that were starting as "promising" novels, but fail.
