I'm on my second 360 now, but I didn't replace it. I had it for 3 years, then my friend came over to my house and decided it would be funny to "accidentally" slip and drop a can of Dr. Pepper on top of it. Needless to say, he bought a new one the next day.

I had the original Xbox 360 since the day before it was released in Europe. I replaced it this afternoon because I moved house, and the movers broke it... luckily with the insurance money, I brought myself a brand-spanking-new Xbox 360 Elite upgrade, which is nice. Never in these many years have I had the so-called myth of Red Ring of Death.

I'm on my 4th PS3. The first 2 broke due to being shit. The 3rd, I drunkenly mistook it for something else, and golf-clubbed it off my balcony into a creek..... Hmmph

My Xbox 360 had a false alarm once not that long ago (has a thread) but I've yet to need to replace it.

2 years. Lets see how long it lasts.

ONe 360 crapped out after... three-four years, usual 360 stuff, and my second one crapped out after incompetent movers fucked it up. So I'm on my third. I'll send the other two in for warranty eventually, I'm pretty sure, but my current one works perfectly fine.

I've had the same 360 for 3, almost 4 years and I've had no problems with it yet.

I'm on my first PS3 still, but I don't have so much luck with 360s. I'm on my fifth or sixth. My first broke within an hour of turning it on for the first time ever. On my birthday...

my first 360 lasted nearly 4 years and crapped out a couple months ago. On my second now. So basically about the success rate I had with the ps2, and better than I had with my psOne

I'm on my 3rd PS3 and my 6th Xbox 360. You know how they say that cigarette smoke is damaging to complex electronics? Yeah, well, they are right.

Yours died while it was still in warranty? Lucky but unlucky.

Had my 360 for nearly a year now and the only issues I've had are an odd vibrating noise (which turned out to be the stand my 360 and TV are on) and disc read errors from second hand games that were scratched to shit.

My friend and I both have our first PS3s, he got his a few months after release, I got mine on the first day, never had any issues with either console, then we have my friend who I believe Red Ringed his 360 multiple times.

We laugh.

Second 360, first PS3. (Although it's only my second 360 because I sold my first one to finish building my PC and knew I could buy an Elite with my next paycheck, and I had been meaning to upgrade from the 20GB)

Reading through old comments: What the hell do you do to burn through 5-8 consoles?

My first 360 red-ringed right before I went on expedition. Four weeks later I got back and my place had been burgled, so I got a newer and better replacement no fuss from the insurers.
Current one RROD'd once, but never had a problem since, so seems okay for now.
