Yeah, but my opinion isn't infallible at all. I wouldn't classify Diablo as an RPG, though. It's an action-adventure game where you happen to increase stats. With the different class selections, it does offer more customization, though, closing in on the RPG genre more than other games in this thread does.

im actually really slow when it comes to finishing a game, even though I've reached nearly 100% completion i still use a long time to face the last boss.
Therefore i still count them, since i know i can beat the last boss, i just havent done it yet for some of these:

Final Fantasy: 4-12 (working on number 13)
tales of vesperia
Dragon age: origins & awakening
Fallout 3: GOTY edition
Legend of Dragoon
Heavy Rain
Neverwinter nights; 1 & 2 + expansions
Baildur gate; dark alliance 1 & 2
champions: Return to arms & champions of Norath
Mass Effect 1 (soon number two as well)
Breath of fire: 3, 4 & Dragons quarters
The elder scrolls: morrowind & oblivion GOTY

Does it count if I have beaten the same game multiple times, because if so... I might be pressing onward to fifty plus. Either way, my list is below, with how many times I have concluded the game next to it.

Final Fantasy X - 9
Final Fantasy X-2 - 1
Final Fantasy VIII - 3
Final Fantasy VII - 2 (possibly three)
Xenogears - 3
Legend of Dragoon - 4 (possibly five)
Chrono Cross - 3
Mass Effect - 2
Legend of Legaia - 1
Jade Empire - 3
Thousand Arms - 1
Suikoden - 2
Suikoden II - 6
Suikoden V - 1
Vanguard Bandits - 9+
Pokemon series - Too many times overall

JRPGs, not many, and I've played a lot. Generally get lost when I get the airship. Take a break from the sidequests, and never get around to going back.

Grandia
Chrono Cross
Legend of Mana
SaGa Frontier (1 of the 7 stories, at least. Hard game at high level play.)
Final Fantasy 13 (The only one I ever beat. I never even beat 8, which is my favorite.)
Pokemon. All generations. 2 games of each.
Golden Sun 1 + 2
Tales of Vesperia
Kingdom Hearts 1 + 2
Star Ocean 3 + 4
Eternal Sonata
Megaman Battle Network 2
????
????

WRPGs:

KotoR 1 + 2
Jade Empire
Mass Effect 1
Fable 2
Oblivion
Fallout 3
????
????

And many more that I've forgotten, likely. For both.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

Probably more but they'll be dating back years.

What the...

Heavy Rain isn't an RPG.
I know its techicaly a interactive drama, but what are you doing in the game?
yes you are playing a role, where your actions have direct effects on the characters and how the npc's view the character, therfore i will stick to my claim that it is a RPG.

I have a tendency not to finish WRPGs. If we count Zelda, Diablo and X Men Legends, the total clock in at 27 btw.

Ok, yeah. It's not like you get to choose what quests to do and it's either "down to level X" or "up to level X-2".

Baldur's Gate
Chrono Trigger
Diablo 2
Deus Ex 1 & 2
Fallout 1, 2, & 3
Final Fantasy 5
Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2
Mass Effect 1 & 2
Penny Arcade Adventures Episodes 1 & 2
Planescape: Torment
Pokémon: Red
X-Men Legends 1 & 2

And Heavy Rain, if we're counting it. Personally, I find the idea of "genre" to be pretty fluid, and what is and isn't an RPG is actually a pretty vague question.

It's difficult to tell which games are true RPGs, and which games (COUGHpokemonCOUGH) are just using the name RPG because it sounds cool while they're really action/adventure games.

I'll just say a lot.
