I'm afraid i'm not amazingly good at naming species but i'm reasonable i suppose
right, deliberately scrolled straight down to avoid being reminded of some i forgot
here's my list:

Human, ithorian, jawa, wookie, hutt, ewok, rodian, twi'lek, gungan, tusken raider, duros, bothan, ugnaught, gamorean, gand and ... erm ... yeah i'm finished

it's frustrating when i had about 10 more but they weren't sentient so wouldn't count
time to compare

ok since you played kotor many times i have a question

do happen to know what that creature with two heads is you find one in the taris cantina and the other in Tatooine sell stuff near your ship. what are they called. one head is silent and the other one is attached the guys back and it talks. the silent one can talk to the guy on its back but it can't communicate to you in the game for some reason.

the guy on taris tells you what planet he is from and maybe his species

i would check my self but my cd is scratched like hell and i am still working on recovering my steam password so i can't access it

if you don't know i will find out my self when i can since it's bothering me

As I recall the name of that creature is not pronounceable to humans thus telling you would serve little purpose
