Console wise? 2, Fallout New Vegas and Brink. Both bored me.

You said steam doesn't count, but I've 80 unbeaten games there.

Dead Rising 2: I started it, but it's just a really annoying game that is hard to make progress in for some reason. Just dicking around in it is fun, but it's still an "unfinished" game.

Fallout: New Vegas: This one I'm in the progress of playing, and I'm really enjoying it.

Overlord 2: Pre-ordered it after watching trailers and becoming excited. It was funny, and charming, but the god-damn puzzles where you had to move statues from one end of the map to another just killed me.

Half-Life 2: I like the story of it, and the gameplay's decent, but again the damn puzzles annoy me. Why does the helicopter stop chasing you so you can place some barrels on a counterweight for a lift?

Titan Quest: Bought it on Steam when it was on sale, and I just haven't gotten around to playing it.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent: I'm too scared to play this game.

Portal: Played it to a certain chamber twice, which I can never do for some reason.

Batman: Arkham Asylum: Got it on a sale, haven't had time to play it.

Section 8: Generic-ass shooter with little story. Couldn't be arsed.

Super Meat Boy: Too damn hard!

World of Goo: Got stuck on some stage and I could't progress.

Looking back at this list, I really am TERRIBLE at puzzles.

Okay, lets try to remember (I'm at work. Can't actually count).

Silent Hill Homecoming (Currently working on)
Shadows of the Damned (Currently working on)
Condemned: Criminal Origins (Just bought. Soon to start)
Donkey Kong Country Returns (Will finish this summer)
Sonic Colors (Will finish this summer)
Deadly Premonition (Yet to start)
Mass Effect (Have attempted 3 times. Just can't get into it. Going to have a friend play it for me while I dictate decisions so I can play 2, which I liked from the first two hours I played of it)
NBA 2K11 (Haven't played through a full season yet. That's how I count it)
Penumbra: Overture (Play from time to time. Not a PC gamer)
Deadrising (MIA)

I think that's all.

shit you have too many games

I generally always finish the games I buy (at least if we're talking story-wise, I don't usually go for 100% just for the sport of it) and I don't have a single unfinished game on the PS2 or the PS3 (I'm a console gamer).

I have many unfinished games on both the NES and the Genesis from back when I was a kid though, but that's mainly due to the fact that they were too frustrating (I'm pretty sure some of them still are and most of them had to be finished in one sitting).

I have some unfinished games on the PS1 as well:
Urban Chaos, Rayman, Blaze and Blade: Eternal Quest, 40 Winks, Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle, GTA2, Medal of Honor, Syphon Filter and Tenchu: Stealth Assassins.

Some of these were just plain bad, others got too hard for me at the time. But for the past 10 years or more I've finished every game I've ever bought, usually playing through the story more than once.

Great, make me feel guilty! It's mostly games on the original Xbox so hard to go back to that system. Now I'll have to keep a note of this in a notepad file.

CoR: Assault on Dark Athena (first-person melee, finished Butcher Bay - excellent game)
Beyond Good and Evil HD (action-adventure, played it on Xbox before, but had a save bug, so got it on 360)
Metal Arms Glitch in the System (3rd person robot shooter, old Xbox, so probably won't go back to it)
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath (bounty hybrid FPS and 3rd person action adventure, will finish it when HD comes)
Brutal Legend (open world action RTS by Double Fine, don't have my 360, but love this game, don't get the hate)
Far Cry 2 (open world FPS, love the game, need more holiday time)
And Yet It Moves (indie paper cutout gravity-defying 2D platformer, will finish it when have nothing else to finish)
Misadventures of PB Winterbottom (indie 2D platformer, won't go back to this unless if there's a sequel)
Silent Hill 2 (on original Xbox, so hard to go back to, but I really liked those 3 hours I spent on it)
Broken Sword 1 (love, love this adventure series, will finish it when have more time)

Me? about 80% of the games I have on steam. Seriously, those sales.

Wow Aliens vs Predator for only £2.50? It'd be a crime not to buy that. Play for 10 minutes. Go back to Starcraft 2. <-- story of my gaming life the past 6 months.

Too many to remember without going through them right now, for the most part it's because I become bored of them and realize it's not going to get any better if I continue playing.

Loads! I buy games then uni denies me the time to play them. My summer challenge is to at least finish the main story on all the games I own.

Can't even begin to count them all much less list, as I'm probably closing in on 100 or maybe more. The funny thing is I keep my unfinished games on a shelf, and the ones I've finished are stored somewhere else.

Some might think I'm more of a collector than actual player but I do intend to play all my games. Perhaps good for a season of drought or famine.

I think the backlog grew so much due to seeing good deals that I couldn't pass up at the time. I recall in the olden days each game could cost upwards of 70 bucks each. But, I have some great games mostly from last gen that didn't cost me anymore than 10 bucks.

I recall when my girlfriend first saw the shelf she immediately said I "need to get out more". She likely assumed that was my entire collection, and it was just the tip of the iceberg.

I was pretty poor growing up. Not really poor, but just barely clinging to the bottom of the lower middle class. I would usually have to wait until long after a console came out before my family could afford it. I didn't get a PlayStation until 2001, which I bought for $100 and promptly spent the next few months playing as many old games as I could borrow from friends.

When I finally got old enough to get a job and start making my own money, I was working so much that I rarely had time to play. Despite that lack of time, I was gifted an old PS2 in 2008 by a friend who'd had his modded in Venezuela and wasn't happy with not only the long loading time of games, but also the fact that it didn't seem to want to play any non-DVD games anymore. At the same time, though, a new roommate moved in with me and she had an Xbox360, which

After moving out last year, I've been trying to make up for lost time, and now have more than 60 game which I've played since June of 2009. There are a few of them I haven't gotten close to finishing.

Fatal Frame
Siren (which I'm not sure I actually plan on finishing)
Jak 3
Beyond Good & Evil
killer7
Devil May Cry 3
Disaster Report
GTA: 4
Persona 4
007: Everything or Nothing
Final Fantasy XII
Twisted Metal Black

I only have 3, all by Bethesda, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Morrowind and New Vegas. Granted I'm still going on New Vegas, the other two I'd always get side-tracked by School, Work or other games.

All the other games I've beaten at least once, though the two big ones I play the most can't be "beaten" MMO's and all, being WoW and DDO.

Forgot about Black and White 2. I couldn't get to the end guy because the game was too boring. Amass huge army, Roflstomp enemy, get bored throwing the same two spells around.
