I either act like a five year old, whining and demanding appeasement and generally being adorable, or I'm being refined and intelligent, which makes people think I'm older.
When I was thirteen, I was hit on by a 30 year old who insisted I had to be at least 20.
When I was 20, I was hit on by a 15 year old who thought I was thirteen.
What are the odds?

What do you mean immature in relationships?
Think close to "16 year old girl" immature. Okay, well maybe not that bad.

I'm highly emotional, clingy and worrisome....at least that's what my last 2 partners told me.

Not sure if I can trust them though. They hated me in the end...
I would not call that immaturity. Thats just who you are. You seem very mature judging from our other conversations.

Hm. Well thank you for that.

People have called me mature lots before, just within the few relationships I've had, I've been told I'm immature.

Thanks though ^-^

I'm mature enough to say that people who say they are mature are not mature because no matter how long you live nor how much you try and enrich yourself; there is always things to mature on.

In short, the maturity is a lie.

Immature around a few select friends, mature around most others.

Or to put it into a Furburt quote that I can still (creepily) remember, "When I want to be mature, I act sad and depressed"

So yeah.

Edit: speaking of which, Where the hell is that guy?

I probably think I'm more mature than I actually am.

I'm only 16, man. As much as I'd love to be "unique" and "mature" for my age, I'm probably really not. In other words, I act my age.

EDIT: Ooo! I have a good example of my maturity. I keep telling my friend that she has a "weewee" cuz she has two Wiis. Herpderp.
Have to agree with this. As much as I'd like to pretend I'm more mature then I am, I only act my age.

I've noticed I can be a bit more serious than both my friends and I would like. I enjoy talking about things that most other teenagers would find incredibly boring. I have a couple friends who can stand chatting about things I like to talk about, one of the two appears to enjoy it almost as much as I do. Others, get very annoyed by it -_-'. I'm not sure if being boring and liking mature topics (FYI the topics I'm speaking of are science and politic based) necessarily makes me mature though. I still have issues ordering food from a restaurant do to my poor social skills :/. I still enjoy cartoons from when I was little, such as: Power Puff Girls, Invader Zim (Who Doesn't?), Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Laboratory, and many more. Finally, something in my favor, I can honestly say I dislike immaturity among people my age, and I'm pretty good at spotting it. I also dislike looking "silly" even if the goal was to get a laugh.

I'd say in the end, I still end up having the maturity of an inexperienced adult. One that has a lot knowledge and dislikes people who don't but has hard time doing anything practical with it.

I'm very mature. I'm actually the guy that my friends go to when something's bugging them because I handle everything smoothly and don't react with emotions, but with logic. But I can laugh like the next guy and crack a "that's what she said" joke anytime.

So in reality, maturity isn't a debatable issue because it is more based more on opinion than hard facts.

For my age (12 but almost 13) yes but I do tend to switch between bizare and proper every ooooh 30 minutes or so. Edit: By mature I mostly mean I don't constantly say homophobic or racist slurs.

I spent my childhood acting far too mature. Now I'm in my late 20's I'm making up for it. I expect to continue to act like a child until I'm around 40, at which point I will buy a sports car I can't afford, sink into a deep depression, write a best selling novel about my experiences then kill myself using whatever method suggested to me by the first person to roll triples in the thread I make about it on 4chan.
If 4chan is no longer around in 13 years, I will try skydiving.

I reached full physical maturation a few years ago. I expect I'll start degrading in a few decades.

You want a story? :p Meh, here's an example:

I've been finding things 'irresponsible' and dissing grown ups since I was elementary school. At one point my teacher actually called home to explain that she "Would stop going into a discussion with him" (me), since I wouldn't relent "And always had something to say back". I was pretty vexed about the matter, and probably told my parents that in a very colourful manner. Hence the phone-call xD

I know faults of others and my own when I see them and admit many of them. I am quick to admit I was wrong, should this be proven. (Something a lot of internet trolls REALLY REALLY HATE. They prefer you flaming them, continuously rather than apologising xD).

I can't stand people not admitting something and can get annoyed if things are said out of te blue without backup, just trying to "sound cool". (It happens a lot around you, but you might not mind/notice/do it yourself). Assumptions are fine but there it is.

I hate misunderstandings and from that, have come to hate flat lies since they create the worst of misunderstandings possible.

I do not believe in numbers like many of the posters here it seems. So you'll not get any age dates. Or what not. I don't even know how you can put a number on maturity anyway. I mean, DEFINE Mature xD lOl.

I'm very mature, but being that I'm surrounded by probably the MOST immature people on the face of the planet I'm not saying that much...

by most immature people I mean 17 year old's that throw GameCube controllers across the room and cuss you out for killing them in Kirby air ride in order to take their power ups.

I'm mature enough to know that I'm extremely immature.
That's more then a lot of people, acceptance (or realization in this case) is a step most people never consider, they're always too busy making everything not their fault in order to justify their actions

My maturity is contextual. I'm mentally 12 when I'm goofing off with friends, but in serious situations I'm in my early 40's. On xbox live I created a new curse today: Cuntasaurus *****. It translates as **** lizard *****. I falcon punched my little brother after he stole my last twinkie. I've jimmy tapped friends for no reason other then I could. I regularly slap sunburnt friends as hard as I can. I cuss every fucking chance I get. But when you ask me to explain death to a five year old, I'm Yoda, Santa Claus, and Bing Crosby all rolled into one.
