I'm about as mature as a four year old, and, like the OP, pretty secure emotionally.

Sorry OP, no stories spring to mind at this moment, unfortunately.

I try to find enlightenment; mental maturity, but I know it will never bring me true maturity.

Too mature for a 16 year old, that's for sure.

Sure I'll spout out a retarded "ur mom" or "no u" joke every now and then for the sake of it, but for the most part, I find myself looking at everyone else in my class and wondering why they all have mental retardation.

Depends on what I am doing. If I an doing something important or discussing something serious I can act like a proper adult. Though most of the time I am more like my age.

Ho, you don't get as immature as me :D. Seriously you don't. I'm the best at being immature... I AM, SCREW YOU. I'M TELLING MUM.

Hahaha, anyway, seriously I can be extremely immature for the most part. If I ever needed to back this up, I'd record my average gaming session with my cousin. A bunch of cursing, silly jokes and me being the prat I am.

Though to be honest, I enjoy being an immature little twat and I guess that's what matters right.

That being said, I've managed to raise a kid for nearly four years and she's doing well at school so... That's got to count for something right?... Right?.

I've also managed not to have any of the moderators peveed with me so far. So maybe that counts too. Not had a single ban, probation or suspension, not even a warning so perhaps I'm either just so uninteresting that my posts slip by unnoticed or mature enough not to get into trouble.

Any way... The point is, I enjoy being a child at heart. I guess that's just me. I can spurt into random dances in the house, pick the dog up and hold him in the air while singing "Circle of life" while the dog has a confused look on his face and I'll also spend my evening with my niece happily watching old Disney movies all day.

It's an entirely subjective point, how could anybody comment positively on themselves in this without drawing too closing to it being egocentric?

Computer says no.

I probably think I'm more mature than I actually am.

I'm only 16, man. As much as I'd love to be "unique" and "mature" for my age, I'm probably really not. In other words, I act my age.

EDIT: Ooo! I have a good example of my maturity. I keep telling my friend that she has a "weewee" cuz she has two Wiis. Herpderp.
Have to agree with this. As much as I'd like to pretend I'm more mature then I am, I only act my age.
If it makes you feel any better, you're probably more mature than all the rest of these people calling themselves "very mature".
Hah, too right.

depends on the day.
I often give people a false sense of my actual nature, feigning being childish or naive, because of how old i actually look.

I'm actually 21 but look no older than 15 or 16. I feign immaturity but i'd like to think of myself as an intellectual. But as for my maturity it really depends on who i'm with. My girlfriend is probably one of the few who actually knows what my personality is like.

Although admittedly, there is a part of my brain that never left fifth grade and still laughs at fart jokes and does "That's what she said." and "In Soviet Russia...". XD
in soviet russia- she says fart?

OT: Ya, I act mature when I'm kissing as* but otherwise I'm as mature as the people I'm hanging around with.

I'd consider myself rational and cool-headed, but not mature.

You should see me around my friends...

EDIT: "I'm mature at the right times" would be a better way to put it.

I'm mature when I need to be, like when I'm talking to Teachers ect. But most of the time I'm like a 6 year old...it's kind of getting bad.

I'm immature when it comes to the office compared to real adults with kids and SUVs because they're so fucking boring.

But I probably know myself better than most and well enough to make hard choices in good conscience.
I realized you have to give a lot to get a little, and sacrifice sometimes a lot in the name of selflessness or what's right.
To me, these things dictate maturity.

Yes, I may be a 24 year old woman that plays video games, read comics, makes dick jokes, and has an action figure shelf--but goddamnit, I moved out at 22, have held a Job in my field for 2 years, pay bills, and get myself around successfully 200 km away from my family in a city of 2 Mill more than my home town.
