I am a four year old in a 20 year old's body. Luckily for me my fiance is the same.

Examples of our immaturity? We rawr at each other like dinosaurs and call each other Dansaur and Jennysaur. We tawk in siwwy kiddy voices wike wis aww da time. And we squeal like crazy at anything cute.

But then again, get us in the bedroom... ;D

Fairly average for a 23 year old, I guess. Although on reflection all my friends are 3-6 years older.

Used to be way too mature for my age, but I guess that kinda fades with time. I mean the difference between a 16 year old and an 18 year old can be pretty huge, whereas the difference between say a 23 year old and a 25 year old is much smaller in comparison.

Maturity isn't a constant. I can be hyperactive, bubbly, silly, and childish one minute, and able to help someone do pages of boring paperwork the next. I'm as mature as I want to be.
It's fun having maturity as a non-zero Dy/dt function, isn't it?[footnote]I'd approximate it as a linear combination of 1/2*Cos(Maturity*Time)^M and 1/2*Sin(Maturity*Time)^N, where M and N are random real numbers. It doesn't increase without bound, but rather oscillates in a pseudo random fashion.[/footnote]

I can laugh at the most immature of poo or boob jokes.
I've also had the emotional maturity to help a suicidal friend.

I'm probably more emotionally mature than i'd like to think. Kind of sucks really, i'm desperately clinging to the melting glacier that is my youth.

I'm capable of serious discussion, in-depth debate and all that grown-up stuff

I've yet to experience any really major emotions beyond awe and having a damn good time (which ARE major...)

But, mostly, I just like goofing about. Videogames and discussing the benefits of Ninjas over Pirates. It's just nice to wind down from being internally 40

Pretty simple.
I'd say I'm pretty mature for m age. I act like an 8-10 year old most of the time, but emotionally I'm about 29, I'd say. I started watching Babylon 5 in 2nd grade, so I just grew up kind of early. I also read trash (video game novelizations and sci-fi, good and entertaining but not high literature, really). I just want to know how mature you guys think you are?

EDIT: These posts are boning! Spice them up with some examples! Tell some funny stories!
I feel that I'm pretty mature intellectually, but I am a true kid at heart. I still giggle when I hear the word "fart", and whoop with delight when an explosion goes off, but I know when to hunker down and get to work. But not until I squeeze every last second of enjoyment from the day. The night's for the student, but the day's for the kid.

Since I've been called boring by a good handful of people, I have to assume I'm mature. Those two words are typically synonymous right?

It depends on the people im with and the location and what is proper there. By my own I like to goof around and say things that sting on people to see their reactions.

So its hard to say how "mature" i am. Its very situational for me I think.
