It all depends really. At the moment I am on holiday so I have been reading quite a lot. I have just finished Professor Moriarty: The hound of the D'Urbervilles which was the best book I have read in a while. Usually I don't have that much time to read that much, beyond occasionally flicking through the Metro on the bus.

Not nearly enough, i've started reading a lot more since I started college but I could still stand to read a bit more. I'm currently re-reading the Night Angel Trilogy and i'm loving just as much as I did the first time I read it.

I read everyday. Might even just be 2 pages of a book depending on what I need to do or what other activities I can do. Or it might just be the paper on the way to University.

I am in a graduate program at University I read 8-10 hours a day, almost everyday. I usually have to get through about 3-4 books a week. Sadly I am not a fast reader. Toughest year of my life so far.

About a few book pages a week. Mostly i'm too tired to read longer than 5mins. You know to call it a day when you finished reading a page and cant remember what was said at the beginning. ;)

All the time. I always have a book on the go. I read every night before I go to sleep, and if I'm off I tend to read in the morning as well.

I usually read for an hour or two before bed and then maybe half hour when I wake up. I love me some fiction!

Have you seen that there's a film version with Ralph Fiennes coming out? I'm looking forward to it, even though it's not one of my favorite plays.

On the topic of the thread, I'm reading constantly, even if you don't include stuff like forums and other online things. I've read nonfiction books on Bletchley Park and Shakespeare recently, and I've read Neal Stephenson's Reamde and Terry Pratchett's Snuff.

That's for enjoyment--I don't count the stuff I really should be reading right now, like all the academic papers I need to cite in my thesis. Sigh.

I read a lot. Every day, for about 4 hours orso in bed. I dont sleep a lot, but a least you can rest that way. I read everything from history to science, fantasy to sci-fi. Whatever I like at the moment. Also im listening to a lot of audiobooks now on my MP3.

At the moment i'm reading the Old Man's War by John Scalzi.

I don't read many books because many books don't seem interesting to me. Although I just got Inheritence yesterday so I'll be reading that for a bit.

This year's been a down year as far as reading goes. I try to read a little bit every day, even if it's just a few pages, but I just can't stay motivated.

But in a good year, I try to read at least a half hour a day. I bring a book with me everywhere.

And soon I'm finally getting a Kindle (Fire), so we'll see how that impacts my reading.

Eh. I haven't read that much since High School. College, work, and gaming have taken up my time.

I read every night for 15 minutes to an hour. Right now, it's 1984 by George Orwell.

I am a very avid reader, making sure I read at least 2 books a week.

Was a bit more difficult to keep up that pace making trips to the book store, before I bought my Kindle.

Edit: My average books per week has been 5 lately. Got an Amazon gift card and went a bit nuts buying books.

I've generally got two or three books on the go, at least half of them'll be non-fiction (that is to say, they'll be about history, mythology, philosophy or linguistics... I don't mean I read autobiographies), and I read whenever I've got a spare moment, essentially. Can't go to the loo or have a cigarette without busting a book out. :p

I read a fair amount. Last night I worked it out and, on average, I have read 3 books a month this year. Which isn't that bad. Of course I read a lot of websites too so that technically counts as "reading".
