Sorry, habit: as a biologist (of sorts), I'm drawn to abnormal innards.

Who would've known a heart could be yellow??
I would have. Cowards always have yellow hearts under their yellow bellies.[/quote]

Do they? Thought that was being 'lily-livered' which equates to a yellow liver... and the heart is... above... the belly...

Ah fuck it, I drink yay much coffee. Question answered.

Christ, a lot. At least two-three cups in the morning. If I don't get my morning coffee I'm a mean son of a ***** all day. Then after work I make myself a cup to relax after getting my ass kicked on a broiler for 7 hours.

I don't like it, so none. It would be nice to have that extra energy in the morning that coffee seems to bring.

I don't drink coffee on a daily basis, but when I do I drink one or two cups.

I have recently gotten into the habit of drinking some iced coffee for lunch fairly regularly though. The kind I like has the caffeine content of a triple espresso, and I'm pretty sensitive to sugar and caffeine, so I guess drinking that stuff right before class isn't one of the smarter things I do.

None whatsoever. I don't like the taste of coffee (even in the Starbucks candy drinks).

Although I love drinking coffee, I don't drink it on a daliy basis, mostly due to not wakeing up early enough to make it in the morning. When I do drink it I drink a lot, sometimes upwards of 700 fl oz, although in the past I've drank almost 2000fl oz while doing a research paper.

Around 4 cups a day. 2 in the morning, 2 at lunch,

I too like it black...like my soul...

edit: I think it's pretty funny how many people have said they don't like coffee, 'even when it's sweetened.' I loathe sweetened coffee, but I also think it belies the youth of the posters. It's like asking who likes a nice glass of bourbon, neat. I pretty much guarantee Younger people just don't have the palettes for it yet.

literally, your taste-bud composition changes over time and as you get older your palette becomes less adverse to flavors that are typically poisonous in nature (as your brain learns to overcome instinct). For example alkalines, bitters, are generally indicators of poisonous plants. I know I couldn't stand coffee when I started college, and now, a nice black cup of coffee from the local shop/roaster is a dream come true.

One cup. There have been studies that have demonstrated that coffee has a beneficial effect on the liver, and given how much I drink, my liver can use all the help it can get.

None. Just one cup of strong caffeinated black tea, with a teaspoon of plant-based sweetener.

Daily ritual in the morning is to make my tea, sit outside and read either the newspaper or a book, while the sprinklers go off and the birds sit and chirp at the bird-feeder. Then when that dewy, fresh morning feeling goes away - I head inside to do my chores and errands, and the like.
