Around 4 cups a day. 2 in the morning, 2 at lunch,

I too like it black...like my soul...
I also like it black... Like my tar-filled lungs...

OT: between zero and about twenty depending on the day

I actually only took up coffee recently as a migraine treatment, figuring it might be slightly better for me than my usual double dose of Excedrin Migraine. One mug, lots of cream & sugar, usually not more often than every two or three days.

Works sometimes too, though the crash makes my emotional state even more unstable than it normally is.

Usually two cups, sometimes three. If I'm working on a project, I basically live off of coffee.

Ehm, once a week? Only when I'm severely sleep deprived and need something to wake me up/get me trough my morning classes.

Tea though...a pot a day?

I like my women like I like my coffee, first thing in the morning.

I usually drink one cup a day, two if I'm really tired but need to do something early.

I can't drink coffee after noon not because it'll keep me up all night but because it'll keep me in the bathroom all night.

Normal day I have four espressos in a cup at the start of work , with cups of tea as pick me ups for the rest of the day.

Needless to say I feel horrible if I go a day without caffeine.

I don't drink any coffee...coffee is very, very bad for you.

Wait. No. Stop.

Just because you may drink coffee and coffee may work out for you, does not mean that coffee is good for you. Here is a list of the logical fallacies used to argue in favor of coffee: Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy, Argumentum ad Populum, Hasty Generalization, Prosecutor's Fallacy, False Attribution, Argumentum ad Ignorantium, Circular Cause and Consequence, Affirming the Consequent, Conjunction Fallacy, Package-Deal Fallacy, and lastly, but most directly connected to most addiction-reinforcing behavior, Fallacy of Necessity.

And, please, dear God, don't make me break out the links. JFGI...for fallacies and facts about coffee and it's manufacturing process.

Post-scriptum:

Soon to occur in the form of flamage from addict-backlash!

Masked Man Fallacy, Red Herring, Humonculus Fallacy ('cause JtP must drink coffee, too!), Appeal to Law, Argumentum ad Nauseum, Ad Hominem, Argumentum ad Baculum, Spotlight Fallacy, Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc, Cherry Picking, No True Scotsman, Ignoratio Elenchi, False Attribution, Misleading Vividness, Argumentum ad Consequentiam, Luddite Fallacy, Straw Man, and, my personal favorite that always happens when I try to convince people they don't actually need coffee to make it through the day and that they have less independent energy from drinking it than when they don't, Reductio ad Hitlerum.

Stay tuned for the madness that I don't care about!

I too don't drink coffee. It's poison and no amount of sugar will make it taste any better. Seriously, the sweetness is like the horrible bittersweet stuff that's like in medicine or something.

I drink tons of the stuff, and I drink about a pot a day. I do use cream though, I"ll drink it black but I'm not a big fan of it.

I kid that when I get my blood drawn the person is gonna say, "I'm sorry miss, but there seems to be some blood in this coffee."

I am in Christchurch and we are supposed to boil our water here. So since I am too lazy to put it in the fridge after so I have just been drinking nothing but coffee. I drink it black and about 8 cups a day right now. Usually would be about 3 or 4.

One medium cup in the morning, caramel flavored. Then on the weekends I usually don't have any in the morning, but I'll often get a frozen coffee drink in the evening just for something yummy. I try to limit my intake so I don't built up a high resistance to it. I don't want to end up like a manager at my last job. He had to get two large lattes with three extra espresso shots each just to wake up.
Very wise of you. I can wake up without coffee, but I get severe headaches whenever I go without it for too long. If I don't drink a cup within the first 2 hours before I go to bed and I sleep in I will wake up with a headache I need 6 espressos to cure. Caffeine is only slightly addicting, but once you're addicted you can end up like me. :p
Yeah, and I have a constant reminder not to end up like that. My boyfriend can't go a day without at least three cans of Coke without turning into a grumpy *****. There's no way I'm going down that path.

I used to not drink any coffee. I started to drink coffee sometime in December. (when it started to get cold)

Anyways: I don't drink coffee EVERYDAY. I'll have one cup of coffee here and there, but I don't drink a lot of it.

I'm going without caffeinated drinks (except for cocoa and green tea, minimal amounts of caffeine) to see if my will is strong enough to still enable me to make those hyper kind of posts, and to somehow reset my caffeine tolerance. Can I? Is it just mind over matter when I feel more confident, creative, and witty when I have coffee because I have built up a tolerance to it? Who knows if I would have been able to think of a better post than this if I'd have had a mug of coffee instead of sugarless hot cocoa, which is a little like my placebo coffee. The aftertaste of coffee is really quite disgusting, but cocoa is good. I really don't want to have to rely on caffeine for clarity of thought. Sure, I know it has some effect on my brain, but how much? I never have the physical withdrawal symptoms others complain about, except for sleeping more, perhaps.
