how much have you played fallout 3?

nothing serious, i just wanted to start an E-peen contest. I myself have clocked in at 700 hours. my house has every single unique weapon in it and i have one character in which i have all skills at 100, and that was even before broken steel

and considering all the time you put in, how worth it did you think it was overall for the days of life it stole from you?

I think a sum of over 1000 hours. I have too much free time and it was all worth it.

Not sure. I have around 20 hours of unmodded Fallout 3 on Steam, but when I installed Fallout Mod Manager and FOSE and it became Steam independent (thus couldn't track time)... It's been at least 100 hours. Made three saves, beat the main questline and all sidequests with each, a bit of Broken Steel with one of them.

Countless hundreds of hours. Everyday waiting for the DLCs to come out, about 8 hours. Thousands of rounds, hundreds of mini nukes, dozens of nuka cola quantum grenades.

Were my character to die, an army could have been outfitted from my will.

i speat 170h of my life and they were more fulfilling than the 17yrs ive spent in school, collage, employment and university if i could i'd engineer some tron-esq divice and put myself in the game itself thou i'd probably choose fallout NV as i love ceasers legion and i want a pet night-stalker there sooo cute.

Not much, i played the main story, and all the expansions i had, explored all of the vaults, and some settlements, did a load of side quests. then i got bored becasue EVERYWHERE LOOKED THE SAME!!!

i know it was supposed to, but it was still boring to look at.

It's the game I have the most achievements for on XBOX live. On Vegas I have 159 hours played and I've played Fallout 3 alot more.

But not actually playing most of the time, but doing stupid stuff.
Such as having so many teddy bears of all sizes strewn about my house I can barely walk through it.

Spent about 130 hours on the damned thing (including DLC mind you), played New Vegas for about 65 hours and have yet to finish it based on the absolute fuckton of sidequests in that game and because you can't go back to them when you finish the main story.

Barely any, couldn't stand it, yet I loved the Elder Scrolls odd, all I know is I wasn't enjoying fighting Supermutants with miniguns, with a baseball bat, something went wrong there.

125 hours. That's like 2-3 play throughs. I don't handle new characters so well >_> or it'd be even more time.

Between Fallout 3 and New Vegas I've probably clocked about 300 hours, but I'm one of those freaks who likes to go EVERYWHERE and do EVERYTHING, and a lot of that time has been just roaming the wilderness looking for stuff that everyone else missed.

Just to put the time you guys spent on this in perspective, it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill. So you 1000 hour people could have been a tenth of the way to being awesome at something.

On the other hand, I spent 200 hours playing Fallout 3, so... glass houses.
