Whatever, just wash your hands.
lately Ive been buying a few too many classic pc games off gog.com, I mean, just buying, not even installing or dling, I just like having them and the cool extras, the latest one I got was a 2nd copy of the longest journey just so I know it will work on a modern system and it beats having to install from 4 cds and it was on daily sale

I think in total Ive probably spent about a 100 bucks there

None yet. But with their acquisition of some old EA games, am I really hoping to be able to lose weeks to Sim City 2000 again in the near future.

I...I'd rather not admit how much I've spent USD wise.

Needless to say, I have a love/hate relationship with them.

I love all the classic that they provide - I hate all the money that they seem to take away from me.

Well I own 11 items from them (not counting the free ones they give you), which is 12 games (Descent 1 and 2 come together).

I think I spent $5-6 each on two of them normally, being Planescape: Torment and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and then the rest for something like $2.50-$2.99 each in the Interplay sale a few weeks back:
Descent 1&2
Descent 3
Fallout
Fallout 2
Freespace
Freespace 2
Giants: Citizen Kabuto
MDK
MDK 2

So that's somewhere in the neighbourhood of $35.

I've downloaded them all but so far I've only played Abe's Oddysee, Freespace, and Giants (which I'm working my way through now).

I really hope they can get a hold of System Shock 1 and 2 in the near future.

Around 25-30ish I imagine.

Let's see:

-Earthworm Jim
-Gothic 2
-Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic
-Heroes of Might & Magic 3
-Painkiller: Black Edition
-Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror

Buying Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 as well soon as it pops up as well. Seems inevitable they'll get it soon considering they recently put the first one up and when they do it's pretty much a guaranteed purchase from me. Been wanting to play that game again ever since I lost my original copy... well lost in that I lent it to a guy and he never gave it back. Ass. He's also got my copy of GTA3: Vice City. Double Ass.

A little under $150, for the past year most of my gaming have come from GOG. Plus some of the games are worth it for the soundtrack alone.

Six dollars.

I bought Fallout and Fallout 2 when they were on sale for $3 each last month, and that's it.

$16. I bought Divine Divinity a while back and I bought Planescape: Torment a couple weeks ago. I only started buying stuff from them recently, and money has been tight, so... yeah. I will probably spend a lot more though. Lot of good stuff there. Hoping they get the Ultima games, the System Shock games, and Syndicate soon...

About $22, although I can't remember if I got another $6 one. I got Myst and maybe Riven for my mom and aunt (so they don't have to swap discs every few screens), while I myself got Battle Chess and HoMM3.

Duke Nukem 3d 6
Longest Journey 10
Planescape 10
XIII 6
Postal 2 5
Outcast 6
Arcanum 6
Vampire: The Masquerade 6
NWN Diamond 10

So 65 bucks thereabouts.

Still haven't played Duke yet, and I already owned NWN and Planescape, but I kept losing the damn discs, and now I don't have to worry about that. I finally started getting into the fan-made stuff for NWN... good stuff.

Nothing... when I find an older game that I want but don't already own (which is a rare occurrence), I find it with disc/cartridge and packaging and order it somewhere... I try not to deal in paid downloads.

less than $20; Freespace 2 and the Lords of the Realm collection, LTR 1 may be a grinding sim with a byzantine interface but it is so much more satisfying than Shogun 2 Total War in many ways.

Not much, not because GOG doesn't have some great games but simply because I played most of the ones I would be interested in years ago and for many of them I still have the hardcopires.

Didn't know Gog.com existed, nice place there, brings back some good old memories, lots of games I wouldn't mind giving a go again, but for 9.99? for some games that have 10 or more years no thank you.
But it was a nice idea to give us "older" folks a ride back to the past.
