How much music do you have?

I have a bit over 3,334 songs in my library, i like to keep a small and confined collection. I use Zune, VLC, and sometimes WMP.

Do you know if the player is syncronizable with your iPod? And can you import iTunes settings? I can't seem to find any info on these.

I have about 500Gbs on my computer, 250 of that I listen to regularly, most of it is pirated and if I downloaded all my CDs onto my comp i'd probably end up with something like 600Gbs. This is both Music and Audiobooks (Which i don't have many of)

I have maybe 40-50 or so gigs stored on my hard drive waiting to be put into my computer, but I can't yet because I've yet to get back my damn motherboard. (For those who will ask, I'm on my laptop, which has a very small hard drive.) Anyway, my preferred media player is Winamp.

This is probably the first "How much music do you own" type forum I've posted in with an accurate answer, as I'm finally almost done rebuilding my iTunes library after my old computer crashed a couple of years ago. Why yes, I am a procrastinator, how did you know?

And so we have something to discuss (feel free to tangent)... what is your preferred media player?

I personally use iTunes, cus, well, I have an iPod. I'm interested in foobar2000 though. Might give it a try.

About 100 gb, not sure though, plus add all the CD that I have. So yeah, it's a lot.

EDIT: I forgot the media player: I just use the QCD Player, as I like it more than most players. Don't use iTunes, since I don't have an iPod and I was never interested on it.

I don't have a lot of it ripped but I have a fuck-ton of cd's nothing near what I had before Katrina but I'm steadily rebuilding. The vinyl I lost? Sadly that's gone forever because I'm not paying a premium to a collector for it.

The reason the number is so low is that I'm very picky with my music. I don't like having a bunch of music that sounds the same, then i just feels like background music. No, I like to listen to music I can get involved in. Also, I pay for all my music because it's because of pirates that poor Lady GaGa can't get the 24k gold toilet she really wants and has to ettle for 23k.

I have over 600 cd's and around 115 GB of music on my hard drive. I am a huge music fan and collector. I am always in the market for new metal music, as long as it is good, so I have tons and tons of metal. Also a big fan of classical, atmospheric, and OST's, and even some comedy, George Carlin and the like.
