Nothing. That's the point of science. To admit that we don't know, but to still try our best to explain how the world around us works. It doesn't usually work that way, it usually turns into a religion with fanatical believers though.

OP... I'm going to assume that you have posted this with a computer, yes? Not an unreasonable assumption, correct? The technology behind that computer wasn't willed into existence through blind faith. Can you guess where it did come from, that wonderful technology that pipes the stupid pictures and pornography you look at when you're not making ignorant posts here straight onto the screen you see before you? I'll leave you with that question, it may take some time for you to puzzle out.

People constantly pick and choose what they think science represents, like there are different sects of it, like a branch of science that makes your electronics (good science!) and a branch of science that supports the theory of evolution (bad science!).

The truth is, everything falls under one category. The same scientific method is applied to everything. You can't pretend that you invest no trust in science just because of a few things that you disagree with, while constantly and ignorantly reaping the other benefits it provides to you and everybody else.
