The past four days I've slept a total of 12 hours, I think. Fucking FFXIV:ARR.
Don't even have that much game time. Mostly spent on waiting for maintenance to end and trying to get back online.

On average, when I'm not obsessed over some game, I sleep 8-12 hours. Constantly tired as fuck, so there's often plenty of power napping going on...

Since I still don't have to go to school, I have no real patern. I got to bed between 1-2 am and sleep till... well whenever I wake up. Be it 8, 9am or even noon. If I go to school I usually sleep 8 to 10 hours.

I usually get around 6 hours - that is if I'm sleeping on my sofa, which I now have to do every night.

I'm all alone in the house, but in every single bloody room I can hear the guys next door smoking, partying, doing drugs and talking about it loudly, playing very loud music and they have the most annoying laughs. It's like a stoned, low-pitch Woody the Woodpecker. And they party until 5am, which is great for them but not so great for the girl with 7am shifts.

The living room is the only room with walls thick enough to not have to listen to them - but even now (6.30pm) I can hear their bass quietly in the background. Thank God my sofa's comfortable.

I need 5 if I'm going to function properly but I usually get between 6 and 7. The only time I tend to get more than that is if I go several days around the 5 hour mark. In my younger and dumber days, I was getting around 3 or 4.

I have no sleep pattern, haven't for about a decade (little less, really). Sometimes I'll lay down for 20 hours and sleep a good portion of that, sometimes I'll be up for 48 with barely a wink. If someone were to ask me how much I sleep in a given 24-hour period, my answer would be "somewhere between 2 minutes and 20 hours, depending". If asked for an average, I have no answer. Thankfully, that makes me perfect for erratic, last-minute work schedules, which is quite lucrative in the US these days (as jobs outside of investing go).

I go for six as often as possible.

Some weekends and days off school I'll go for 12 or more, but for the most part, 6 is perfect. I get to stay up late and have fun and for some reason, I feel better in the morning than I do with 8. 8 hours leaves me groggy and I take a long time to get up. With 6, I can get up quick and I feel better and sharper throughout the day.

It's probably doing terrible, terrible things to my health, but I can't be arsed to change. Better to live to 50 having fun than live to 100 being boring.

Most nights I don't even consider going to bed until sometime after 4am, and I typically wake up at 11am (12pm on the weekends).

I do it by choice, though. I've always been a night owl, not an early bird. Right now I'm working at a job where I don't have to actually be in until 2pm, so this typically works for me unless I cover someone's morning shift or I have something that I need to do before going to work. If something like that comes up I just go to bed earlier by however many hours earlier I need to be awake.

Weekdays I manage to usually get about 6 hours. On weekends, I usually get 9. It's been that way for a while. I manage fine with 6 hours. I can usually cope with 5 hours. Anything less than 5 hours of sleep will impact my ability to concentrate significantly.
