Positivity is overrated. Hardship builds strength and diversity. Those that can adapt will move forward and the ones that cant wont. Might sound cruel but thats life, adapt and survive or fall by the wayside.

You know whats funny, if you were to ask someone 100 years ago about how they felt the world was and how they thought the world was going to turn out and then show them how it actually is, they'd prolly hit you for being so negative.

Anyway, I sort of agree with you, OP. Though I'd say most people still see positive things in their lives on a more personal level.

Of course, bad things must happen for anything to change. Because humans (especially as a group) aren't prone to change at all.

However, over a longer period of time, we adapt and personally I'm very optimistic about the future.
