98% of the time. If it can be completed, I'm going to do it. I feel bizarre if I don't. Maybe I have some kind of OCD...

Not very often because most of the games I play have no real end to them (i.e. Oblivion and Minecraft). Those that do have a end I usually try to finish.

It's an almost physical pain to leave a game unifnished for me, so unless the game is horrendous I make it through. A good game, I'll replay once; an awesome game, I replay maybe once a year (or every two or three years).

All, haven't played a game I didn't finish yet, some games took me months( Megaman 9 T_T) also Super Meat Boy's Dark World took me a lot of time but eventually got it.

completed most games except if their ridiculously cheap like kingdom hearts chain of memories for ps2,that game has the most broken Piece os Sh** combat system ever!

And games like Jurassic park for the super nintendo. Long ass game that had to be beaten by a six year old kid in one sitting...yeah not gonna happen.

I play a game for the story, if it has a good story I'll usually want to see it through to the end just to find out what happens regardless of gameplay.

Eh, hard to say. I suppose maybe 50% of the time, but I also play a lot of multiplayer, and there's no way to really complete that. Hell, I have over 50 hours into Bad Company 2, and I don't think I got even halfway through the campaign! Same thing can be said for Starcraft 2, ANY racing game, quite a few fighting games, and you should get the idea.

Also, whenever I see a good deal on Steam/in a store (it happens) I tend to pick it up without much of a second thought, especially bundles and the like...this has lead to me having completed maybe 20% of my steam games. And even that is a generous number...

EDIT- Oh, and if I'm just not enjoying a game, I really don't feel any obligation to finish it, and telling me that "It gets better 10-15 hours in!" really doesn't cut it for me. I probably would've loved that kind of game when I was young and still in school, but now that I spend most of my time working, I really just want games that don't make me wait around for the fun to start.

I'll always complete the games I play. However, I rarely ever attempt to get 100% completion on any one game. I just don't care about collecting all those hidden, out of the way items.

Simple, I will complete a game if I am enjoying it. If the game is aggravating, or just not fun, I won't finish it.

I always complete a game ...eventually. There have been several games which fell by the wayside when I hit the wall but which I later returned to, most notably the first Disgaea and Phantom Brave. It took me the better part of five years to finish those two.

Mind you, most of my fare consists of fighters, puzzlers and epilepsy inducing bullet hell shumps, so perhaps my views are slightly skewed.

The kind of games I play aren't necessarily ones that you can beat, per se. I like simulation games (yeah, I like Spore, shut up). Mind you, some dude pretty much beat Sim City when his city was completely self-sustained and all that... but yeah. Other than that, it's the old school platform games like Sonic and Mario.

If I buy them? I will finish the main story and most(all) of the side quests. I rarely 100% games though as they usually require stupid time investments or asinine challenges. This stems from the fact I only buy games that I know I will like.

If I rent it from Gamefly? I give it a 2 hour window. If I hate it in that amount of time I send it back. If it hasn't drawn me in but I don't hate it, Ill look up reviews to see if they say the story is dull to start. If I like it, well then I will finish it.

About 80% of the time, if I make it past the 50% mark. Unless the game is complete shit, of course.
