How often do you get out?

So I finally got around to seeing the last Harry Potter movie a couple days ago and it got me thinking about when part one came out. I went to see that one with friends, and I went to this one alone. Then I thought of all the times I hung out with people who weren't family since then, and it was only seven times (and I almost died one of those times). So it's pretty clear that I'm the worst stereotype of lonely nerd come to life, but now my thoughts point in your direction.
How much do you go out with people, and if you want you can talk about what you usually do with friends, how many people are usually there, whatever.

Quite a bit.

I usually hang out with a small group of people that I'm close to. Sometimes it's one person, sometimes it's five. I try to avoid large groups.

What we do depends on who I'm with and how many people there are.

What samurai said mostly. I get out as much as I can, however my friends don't really get out much as they're all busy with their girlfriends.

I have however, just got in from a walk. I decided to go out at 2:20AM today to go for a walk and I got in at 4:05AM. That's totally a life right there.

On Topic:Anyway I rarely get out.I stay indoors and talk to my friends over the internet even though my mum keeps pushing me to go out a bit more (I'm only 17 right now). I think the thing she doesn't grasp is that if I were to go to a friends house then I would end up doing pretty much exactly the same stuff as over Live only I would be sitting next to them and it would be much more awkward. I should start getting out more though, especially if I plan on getting into the whole dating thing when I start going to bars.

Does going to work count? I live about a half-hour/ twenty minutes from work so going to work for me is kinda like going out...other than that maybe once or twice a week. I go out with my GF to do errands and stuff though. Going out for the sake of going out though...not often.

I don't go out socially or for fun, nor do I hang out with friends outside of my home. This is choice I've made as I prefer solitude when possible.

The extent of leaving my home aside from work/errands is to go for daily walks so that I get some exercise and the occasional family gatherings.

I would say so. Some of the people I knew would go out every night, like I do now.

Of course, that was in the past. My memory is a little fuzzy on the details.

Pretty often. I also have a full time job, so that limits my time. But I often split my free time between games, friends, and games with friends about 33% each.

Heck, just got into work after my weekly D&D game, in fact, which finished up with a few rounds of MvC3. I, of course, dominated everyone with my Communist (all red colored) Avengers team.

Not too often but it's mainly because I prefer for people to come to me rather than go out to some bar. My home is 5000 square feet situated on a lovely two acre plot complete with a patch of a trees and a pond. Anything you could possibly want to do with as many people as you want you could do at my place and not have to put up with tool bags with popped collars or bad music.

Almost every day to every other day. I lead a very active social life. Have a girlfriend. A job. And awesome friends.

I dislike the stereotype that all gamers are reclusive basement-dwellers.

But honestly, even if you ARE a reclusive basement dweller... it doesn't even matter in the slightest as long as you're happy with your life.
