How often do you get quoted here?

I used to get qouted a lot more. Nowadays i might be quoted once on every 20 posts.

I am rarely quoted but when I am quoted, it's usually someone giving me negative opinions. Last time I was quoted it was some damn berk trying to convert me to atheism for whatever reason. Quite frankly I'm glad I'm not quoted anymore

When I do get quoted though it's usually either someone agreeing with/expanding on something I've said or telling me that I'm a horrible sociopath etc.

About one every other post. Usually it involves statements that appear to be "controversial," but really is not. Actually, it tends to be the same people over and over again, because apparently I'm important enough for them to try and correct . I have mentioned several times that Bioware has been making the same since 1998, that Firefly got cancelled because no one watched it, and that I consider Jrpgs to be superior to western ones and the same people want to try and correct my opinions.

I am fairly certain someone wants to try and correct what I am saying now, but that is not going to work.

I normally don't say anything worth replying to. Every once and a while I might get into a small... disagreement with someone if I'm in a bad mood. But other than that I don't really have many conversations.

The most I ever got quoted was in that thread about that modern art piece that was destroyed by a cleaning lady.

Every now and then I get quoted. Some are good conversations and others are just a need for further elaboration.

All I know is I'm definitely not going to to get on a controversial discussion thread because the last one I got on lasted several hours until I was able to safely neutralize it.

OT: a few times a week, don't really keep track, depends on what i say and where it's said an such.

I've gotten some good reply's though, i've won a couple threads (no Internets yet) gotten a few cookies and even had some one tell me i should work in the games industry for a rather bizarre concept for game additions.

I saw the title and wanted to post "not often enough T_T" in a joking manner. Thinking about it, though, I dread getting quoted. I'm not sure why, but most quotes seem to be from people who are severely pissed off by something I said that wasn't intended to offend anybody. It's gotten to the point that my first reaction to seeing there's a mail in my Quoted Inbox has become:"Oh, God. What did I do this time?" So, if anything, I guess I get quoted too often. Let the trolling ensue...

I feel that way a bit too, even though there's only been a small number of times I've actually posted something that would earn the ire of some other browsers on this site.

OT: I'm not particularly controversial (well, I am, but I don't post most of those opinions) and I'm not particularly funny (in text, you always need to spell out when something is satire or sarcasm) so it's very rarely that I'll actually be quoted. I've had a few debates that filled up my quote box and every now and then someone will quote me for something, but I generally post in threads that already have multiple pages (like this one) and since apparently only one out of every ten people (of which I am one) reads threads before posting, I hardly ever get quoted. I've been wanting to start a thread designed to see how many people actually read the OP/thread posts before posting themselves, though.
